I bought this game yesterday and now because of Steam policy probably won't be able to refund it. It's depressing to say that although first you have to buy the game itself if you actually want to have a decent start you still need to pay for in-game currency which is a total scam. When you start off all you have is minor supplies and the only "weapon" you have is a flashlight. I wouldn't really consider it a weapon since it takes about 30mins of holding down the left mouse button to kill one zombie. And of course commonly there's more than just one zombie at a time so your best option is to run. By the way running attracts zombies like blood does with sharks. But then you have to get supplies and what I'd like to call in my opinion REAL weapons. In order to do this you need to go to areas where theres plenty on zombies waiting to ♥♥♥♥ you which one would wish that the challenge is fun but difficult. Sadly no it's a pain in the ♥♥♥ and if you do die at any time you have to wait 1 hr for that character to respawn. Don't want to wait? Make a new character and let the "fun" begin all over again. If you want to argue or don't believe me when I say this game is garbage, you can go onto ANY popular game rating webstie (IGN, gamespot, gameranking, eurogamer, pcgamer, etc.) and you will see at HIGHEST the game being rated 3/10. You're Welcome.

I actually think Valve will offer refunds at some point. With the number of sales recently, even a minority percentage of refund tickets will be oeverwhelming.

One of the game's selling points by the way is how UTTERLY free the game is after purchase. But as you have seen that's really not the case for the average player.

i started out with and without the ingame currency on two different occastions (due to the two steam releases of the game) and i can honestly say there isnt much advantage of having the "real money". You can buy health kits, and some attatchements for your guns, and a lot of aesthetic stuff, but you still have to brave the same situations as the other players to get guns, the only advantage being you might have a bat instead of a torch. Do as the title says, "Dont waste your money", dont waste it on currency, the game is great without it.

U can totally play without the $ currency, it has no advantages whats so ever over the "free" users. Also the flashlight can kill with 3-5 hits in the head. U should always aim in the head, dude haven't u watch any zombie movies? :D

I sincerely hope that you get a full refund, I really do, but there are some glaring signs as to why you should not but this steaming pile of crap game.

Honestly I did watch lots of trailers and insites and what not. That's the problem though because Hammerpoint nearly committed fraud on this game. However I did miss on the whole low ratings it was given since it seemed like it was purchased alot more than others on steam. I did submit for some kind of refund via Steam support so I'm just gonna have to wait and see.

Dude really? It's way too easy to find items in that game. I've got s*** ton of items and yet I haven't played that game that much and reguraly

Also all items are possible to find in the world. U know that when ppl buy the items and when they die they drop them? Also its only cosmetic stuff that u can buy with $ and some mags and wep attachmens which is no biggie tbh.

One would imagine beating a zombie repeated with a flashlight will no doubt damage it. But no, like all weapons that should deteriorate overtime from beating up zombies, the flashlight is still good as new.

Valve promised refunds, they did not specify people who bought it nor when, so from a legal standpoint they must refund all copies when asked, otherwise you can just take it to court or something.

Isn't starting with next to nothing sort the point in games like these? There would be no point in exploring if you start with a bunch of guns and ammo.
