How accurate is this to Colorado?
Okay so I have no desire to buy this game, because, well do I really need to explain myself?

But I was reading some stuff, and I saw this takes place in Colorado, which is pretty cool in my opinion ... actually wait a second, didn't Dead Rising 1 take place in Colorado to? (some how I don't see that as a conicidence).

Anywho how accurate is this to Colorado? Did they map it off a certain city or what? I am really curious about this

I saw one picture that had mountains ... did they get that right?

(Also I am still LOLing about the Dead Rising. I just don't see that as a coincidence ... even though a zombie game like this in Colorado would be awesome ... hint hint Dayz plz)

So would you say that it's "Lolorado"?

puts on sunglasses...YEAAAAHHHHH... Sorry, got caught up in the moment.
OMG I just saw the link you posted. I want to cry, or laugh, I don't know which.

They did use real Colorado city names, and did get the names of some of the main highways right ... but WTF? Norad is North of Boulder? And I wish I-25 was that close to Boulder.

They got names right I'll give them that. But if they were going to do Colorado, they could have done it right! Colorado Springs would have been a great place to put the game. It's not as developed as Denver, but it's got Norad, the Air Force Academy, Petersons Air Force Base ... shall I go on? (Cheyenne Mountain Zoo would have been a cool place to)

♥♥♥♥ it! I am learning how to make DayZ maps so I can have a Colorado map!

It is bad I am super pissed? I mean I am a Colorado native so. I mean I think Colorado would be awesome, and seeing it was did have me interesting a bit in the game ... till I saw the map

If there is some light to this game, it would be the location and are that was picked. I do like the layout. I wish they would exspand on the map though. It's way too small.
I still am scratching my head how it's missing Denver. You know the capital? There's the mint, court house, capital building, the cathedral (a really cool looking building), not to mention all the parks, the aquarium, Elitch Garden's, and all the sports complexes (Coors Field, Mile High Stadium, Pepsi Center),

They could easily stretch I-25 to Denver ... wait I just realized, it's I-25 to Route 36 (aka the Boulder Turnpike) to get to Boulder. Also I just realized I think Hill Ranch is suppose to be Highlands Ranch (and then there's Devil's Pass, which is think is Devil's Thumb Pass ... man I haven't been there in awhile)

Well I have fond memories of growing up in Goblin Peak with all the other Warg Riders... Seriously though none of this looks anything remotely like CO. I guess the Goblin name came from a camping area in Rocky mountain National park. But they dropped the ball on that. The park has freaking AMAZING visuals that would have been perfect for survival games. Check out:

Imagine the sniping positions or fortifications you could build. Instead we get a LA highway tangle in Boulder, that has skyscrapers (none at at in the real Boulder)... The major landmark in Boulder is the freaking University. In high school I used to go there with my friends and actually talk about which buildings could be fortified in the Zombie uprising! A battle in the open quad area would be epic.
I guess I just need to make my own "simulation" ;P

You mean to tell me they didn't even get CU Boulder? WOW! And when you said skyscrapper I laughed a little.

BTW thanks for the link to this place, I might have to check that place out. Reminded me for a second of Kite Lake

Oh and maybe we should learn to make DayZ maps and make a Colorado one (maybe wait for the stand alone first)
