How did this get back on steam?
After all I have heard about it, it was a massive surprise when I saw it back up! Also couldn't help laugh at the 22/100 metacritic gave it, wonder what you would have to do for a 11/100?

I still don't get why people think Valve wasn't already doing this before with the TF2 item shop.

While the TF2 shop is, indeed, pay to win, it's a completely different genre of videogame. The WarZ advertises itself as a "survival horror MMO," but for some reason gives players the ability to "survive" by paying real world money for food, ammo, and weapons.

Additionally, you won't permanently lose the items purchased on TF2 after being killed by a hacker.

You can get every item completely free. Without paying anything. You can craft them and you can get them from drops.

Then you have to remember that the game is completely free as well. With continous addons, new maps and new gameplay types.

So TF2 is a gazillion times better then War Z's worthless, money grabbing bull shop. Seriously james, get over yourself.

I believe, as usual, you have COMPLETELY missed my point. The TF2 item shop isn't a money-sucker for suckers because the items in it are good... its because the items are WORTHLESS.

Anyone who understands the value of a TF2 hat knows that one bought from the store for 5 dollars is worth almost NOTHING in the TF2 trader market.

Essentially, it is the same difference between those that trade for TF2 items versus those that use the cash shop and the people who buy Dota 2 for 30 bucks instead of 3 cents from the Steam player market.

posts made in a passive aggressive manner are easy to miss the proverbial point.

TF2 wasn't falsely advertised and sold as a finished game but was still in beta WarZ, valve reasoning $>customer.
