Items at start.

I have just a question.When i was playing this game early (like before 2-3 months) i had a water,some food and a flashlight at the start of my character.Now,when i make a new character,i have only a flashlight? Did it mean,that they reduced these 3 starting items,or i have made and deleted to many characters,to obtain these items again? Thanks,and excuse my English.

you only get the food/water stuff for the first couple of characters you make. I believe this is to prevent people from endlessly farming food and water? Not that finding food and water is AT ALL hard in this game.

If that last guy didn't want me to shoot him and take his flashlight he shouldn't have tried to kill my friend with it... that is the LAST time we trust a Brazilian.

Since its back on Steam. How much has it changed since when it was first released? Any major improvements?

Nothing all that big. You can invite people into your group now (like a temporary clan I guess or like a party in an MMO). You can access your inventory from a safe area which is nice. They tried to create a solution for server hopping, but it only sort of helps (it made the game better for players that don't server hop, but players still server hop as the most efficient means to acquire items.

They added some minor content (new weapons/ammo). Some bug fixes... some tweaks.

Oh, private servers... but I have no real interest in those and I hear they are too expensive (although too expensive for me would be ANY price because I am NEVER going to pay money to run a server on any game ever).

I might be forgetting things. I play somewhat often and the changes roll in slowly.

I think the reputation system revamp was during the blackout as well... it didn't change gameplay as much as I had hoped though.

You don't really have to lie or exaggerate to make the game look bad... you know that right?

What about stamina? I saw a reviewer run out of stamina with just a snack bar and a tin of food.
