They don´t even get players through steam anymore, because everyone interested in the game already bought it back in Dec and most of these people already got their refunds.
Since this game is back on steam they did not get any significant players and therefore buyers.

More people are playing this scam, than that scam.
2. Because it´s on steam again people can now get a refund. If they would have bought it from the War Z website this would have not been an option.
OP is right their time is already over. People have been warned about the game and their devs. They are definitely not making the amount of money they need to further develop the game. Just look at the last patch notes. They just changed spawnnumbers. Thats it. It´s game over for Hammerpoint...and there will be no respawn.
We can´t stop everyone from buying the game. But we can still warn people about it. Word of mouth works both ways.
Some people are gonna toss caution to the wind, ignore reviews, personal testimonials, let's play videos. They are going to say "It couldn't possibly be THAT bad." Buy it anyway, and see that it is actually far worse than the reviews.
Nothing is stronger than a 1st hand experience. You can tell people it's awful, it's a scam, don't buy it, all day long, but until their money is gone, and all they have to show for it is the buggy, awful, pvp hackfest that is WarZ, they won't truly understand.
I'm a prime example that it's working.. I have not, nor will not buy this game.. heck i wouldn't even touch it if it were f2p.. From all the reviews and talk about this and it's developers I know enough from what I have read that it would be a waste of time and money. +1 to you all!
I also don't mind if it stays on steam.. the forums are worth the price just for the entertainment here :D
