I know, the best result would have been it never coming back to Steam. But it's okay because they already failed. It simply doesn't matter as they aren't going to produce enough sales for it to matter. When the game first released it skyrocketed in sales because people were in a rush to try this game. But then people saw what it actually was and the state it was in and mass refunds were given.
Then all the terrible truths leaked out. About the development and the developers. They kept digging themselves deeper everytime they ever talked too and still do to this day. Gaming news outlets from all over reported on it. Plus the reviews rolled in and the great metacrtic score of 23/100 shows. How many are going to buy it seeing that?
But the most damning thing of all isn't anything above. It's the game's own age. Video games have a timeline where most sales are made this is from release to a few months after. Once it passes that point the sales drastically drop and the game becomes stale. After the mass refunds and getting kicked off the Steam to reach the stale point that's it. WarZ will never come near the reach of the potential sales it had. At this point it's more likely costing them more to keep the game running than they are getting in income.
We won, the scam failed. Now there's only one way to properly declare our victory.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N43cTeuvUFA
