Fabricated Screenshots
The Steam page still has completely fabricated screenshots all over the place.

These are not gameplay screenshots. These player animations do not appear in the game in any form. That many zombies will not be onscreen at once, the game does not support high numbers of zombies.

They may have lessened the original fraud by being incredibly vague in the features, but this is still an incredibly misleading representation of the game set up to look like gameplay.

Of things that they are currently still doing wrong, yes. I am not saying that they suddenly are innocent of all the past misrepresentation and lies that they perpetuated. But this is something that they are still doing even with the game back on Steam.

Those are all screenshots from the store page.

For a lot of people it isn't how well it is selling it is that Valve continues to sell it after we all now know Hammerpoints business practices.

The game was added back on Steam today. That is why everyone is freaking out.

And a mod just closed this thread and reopened it.

Yeah no one would still be complaining if the game didn't just get added back on Steam. But even after all the things that happened last time it was on the store, the screenshots are STILL fradulent in a way that is misleading to consumers.

It shouldn't because of their past business practices, but even if that's the case they're still CURRENTLY advertising false features via screenshots.

So, stuff that doesn't make it into the final game/cut is bad, you all should REALLY hate movie trailers too because at time they show scenes that never make it into the theatrical version.

That is not even remotely the same thing. These are not "cut" scenes. They outright do not exist. They are posed animations created to resemble gameplay. They advertise features that do not exist. The game outright does not support the number of zombies shown in the screenshots to be in one area.

"Screenshots" of the game are supposed to represent the actual game and gameplay. They're supposed to be screenshots taken of the game, while it's running, to show the consumer what the actual game looks like. I use screenshots as one of the criteria for deciding if I'm interested in a game or not, because it's supposed to represent the real, actual game and how it looks exactly as it is as it's being played.

If WarZ's "screenshots" are fake, then yes, it's misrepresentation. This isn't a movie, these aren't deleted scenes. They're supposed to be in-game pictures that show what the game looks like. Every other single reputable game on Steam uses screenshots correctly to show the exact in-game environment. Some, like WarZ, do not. Misrepresentation of a product being sold is the literal definition of fraud.
