Looks like the abandonment of this game is soon.
I'm sure we all know the details now on how it was revealed that this game would be abandoned sort of a take the money and run scheme. With the history of War Inc and its abandonment it certainly was a huge backing to the claim.

But with http://hammerpointinteractive.com/ now being up and the announcement of a new mystery project it is set in stone. For anyone wanting to play devil's advocate or any fanyboys wanting to jump in-front of this exclaiming something alone the lines of... "A new project doesn't automatically mean abandonment other developers handle more than one"

Hammerpoint is a handful of people, and WarZ has tons of features that were promised that are still not present. (Just like War Inc still today) WarZ still is quite buggy and still requires much patching, in-fact any updates that do come would require even more patching. The several and larger maps promised would also take time as well as new models and textures to fit the area. So I think even a fanboy would admit there is still much left to be done.

But with a previous history of abandonment and a inside leak of one going to happen this doesn't look good. How could Hammerpoint handle two projects with limited resources?
Further more WarZ's sales basically finished due to the age of the game now and reviews it's not going to be a easy sell. A game only really has a few months of momentum then sales drop dramatically. Server rentals and the in-game shop are not going to cover these costs
with such a limited player base.

The only logical conclusion is that WarZ is following War Inc as predicted and attention will have to be given to the next project.

It's simple, they cant.
It would imply to hire more peoples, and waste money on something the customers already paid for, bad luck it's against the first rule of any good scam list.

Now as you said and as predicted, they already focus on their next money maker game, while continuing to do some random stuff on their actual one, at least until they finish to milk the last cash cows.
But it's not really a surprise, when we see their history:
{Ο ΣΥΝΔΕΣΜΟΣ ΑΦΑΙΡΕΘΗΚΕ}

All of the games developed by the company used the proprietary game engine Eternity, developed by company co-owner Sergey Titov of TS Group Entertainment.[1] Their best-known release was the infamous Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, which received overwhelmingly negative review scores for being "blatantly unfinished in nearly every way".[6] The game was a pre-alpha release[1] and, despite Stellar Stone's release of a patch, is still considered to be of very poor quality.
Remember something ?

Seriously it's a real pity that some gamers still support the new genre they try to implement in the gaming industry.
It just consist on poor quality product with very little work on it, mostly based on lies and sold at maximum price possible with on top of that micro-transactions and expansive servers, just to compensate the money they don't want to spend on decent anticheat..

Peoples need to wake up and understand that if they successfully implement this new kind of business in the gaming industry, it will lead to the end of many honest studios that just want to make good games.
Investors will never think twice between invest their money on a studio that plan to make a very good game in 3 years and a quick money grab that will release an half finished product in 6 months time.

That exactly why so much nice licenses are ruined or dying. It's only due to the lack of cashback compared to the low quality products quickly done like this one and the many others that will follow if this one has proven to be in a way successful.

Peoples must become aware of that.

next "project" ??

let me correct...... you mean next "compilation of stolen resources sold via fraudulent marketing"

They may have said or planned all sorts of things in the past, but as tends to be the case with what these people say, it may not turn out to be all that true.

Sergey once told people on the War Inc forums War Inc 2 would happen in February. Obviously they still have plans for a future after The War Z, but they have changed.

They'll go where they perceive the money to be. They're not going to abandon a game as long as the revenue streams flow. We are only getting closer to that inevitability though.

Parts of the company may be working on their next project at this point. The War Z is in the support phase after all, since it has been released and everything.
APB devs almost never say anything about patches till a week before hand and only in the past month or so been talking to the comunity. It's been around for 2 year almost.
Learn from history and avoid anything to do with them and their up coming project's. There project's will almost certainly be failures, abandoned project's or copy and paste programming at it's finest. If they are already planning to move this quickly on to a new project with a handful of staff, I don't see how they can possibly keep up with the update's and fixe's that the War Z need's. They are biting off more than they can chew and are making promises that they can't keep.

Ahh, so that's where the expresion "your winner" come's from, I did wonder. The description of the problem's with big rig's on the wikipedia page does describe alot of the same problem's with the War Z. This is Sergey's trade mark in programming I take it, He and his dev team are like a bad version of the A-Tem where everything goes to ♥♥♥♥ instead of work's wonderfully every time :p

I like the sound of that Company Swankworld, maybe Sergey could open a rival company called Wankworld, it would suit him down to the ground.

Wow, another quality hammerpoint product in the works. I wonder what they're going to reskin onto the old war inc engine this time.

Any guesses? Personally betting PirateZ or NinjaZ, to capitalize on existing fans of these.

I'm surprised they're not changing their name. It's very considerate of then to make it clear which company the WarZ devs work for in order to ensure no accidental purchases of their games in the future.
" Big War MMO Inc Z Rigs "

it will be a "Great Success ! "

If by that you mean 2nd to worst game ever made, you're right :p

People often say that there is no such thing as bad publicity. In this case, Sergey must feel like he is a god amongst men.

But how can the game be abandoned when 9000 people voted that they are satisfied with the customer support as opposed to the 21 that weren't?

Don't believe everything that you read :p

That is their universal answer when a thread open's up. I guess they don't take thing's like the 1st ammendment seriously either. I guess locking or deleting a thread does give them a chance to put the fire out before it even start's. As for hiring more staff goes... I would think long and hard before allowing this company to appear on my CV. I guess work is work though for the people who need it and don't have it so in all fairness, I can't blame them for that. I guess they didn't figure that they would have more email's than they could cope with when they launched this. So much for prior planning.

Idiots are wiping the forums to remove all traces of the damage they have done now too:

haha, A clear and fair rule set after they have banned people for making any critcism about the game what so ever, when their own mod's (not mentioning the name of the particular ONE in mind) have been very rude and treated the forum user's with nothing but contempt while Sergey himself saw fit, In game, to make homaphobic remark's (which he has apologized for). Hypocrasy at it's finest.

One must lead by example from the start to show the rest of his team how they should act and react and to give the user's someone to look up to and respect and to aspire to be like, in other word's, treat other's as you would wish to be treated. The forum mod's there have shown none of the qualities expected of decent moderator's in the past, it is unlikley to change now.

I also find it very, very dubious how they are going to remove the "ban appeal's" section. I wonder if they will ban people from the forum's for mentioning ban appeal's in any other section of the forum for when a user does not get a response. This bode's ill for the user's, mark my word's.
