WarZ Fairfight updated to kick ppl constantly..
As per thread titled...

quoted from you know who..

Hey Guys,

Last night at 8:00pm PST (-8 GMT) we implemented a new set of FairFight restrictions for our 100 player servers. These restrictions have been kicking out people that are under the suspicion of hacking and are now being closely monitored.

Why are we doing this? We want to see what experience this creates for you. We want to know if you guys feel that these servers are playing much better, as there should be fewer hackers on them.

We will continue this test these settings throughout the weekend and gather as much data as we can but will also love to hear from you guys as well!

If you played on these servers overnight what was your experience? How has the experience been today? "

So the funny thing is, when you get reported to many times from butt hurt players, just cause, you automatically get kicked from servers when you are now being monitored by fairfight... how can you be monitored by fairfight and be kicked out of the server?!? how do they monitor you playing when it kicks you...

Well I suppose they could just look at your statistics after the kick it could create a flag for review. Though if what you say is true than players are going to abuse it just to troll and kick people out.

As for the anti-cheat I am not to familar with it. I have seen a video of a BF3 server running it with a legit player constantly killed by it because it suspected he was hacking slaying him over and over. But I would hope that it has evolved since that video was recorded.

well, I did post a link to the thread showing it is true unfortunately >.< and yes, I've seen that BF3 video aswell, it was a CQ map correct??? Its a terrible system, I felt bad for the guy constantly being killed in game for just being good :(

Fairfight is known for being a terrible anticheat system. I dont know why ANY company wouod think ot is a good idea, I guess fairfight may be cheap- and it doesnt run on the server (its on a separate system) so it doesnt affect system performance.

The big issue is you NEED to implement the system during a HIGHLY controlled alpha and beta, where you KNOW noone is cheating, you let it decide a baseline based off of that. The issue is that these people are implementing after release- and the legitamately good people that are actually good are getting "detected" due to skewed statistics.

iv been in the war z fourms a lot about this fair fight. because i seem to get kicked randomly for hours then its ok again. i put my point across about how anyone can make stuff up to report you just because you killed them. a cuple of poeple have replyed saying that fair fight system would not kick you from game.

done a lot more reserch into it and it seems that its steam. steam keeps disconecting which in turns kicks u from the game. any views on that?

I play the game without steam and I also get kicked. Playing on 50 person servers seem the best idea now just so I don't get kicked every hour. I have seen multiple people blame steam for problems ingame with no proof to back it up so I normally just dont listen to them.
