You're best War Z Moment
I just wanted to ask what you're single best moment or memory of The War Z since you bought it was?

I think my best memory of the game was when I first started it up, not knowing what to expect or knowing where to go. A new experience in a new environment.

After that it pretty much all went down hill.

I don't know why I am asking really but I got a hunch that say's everyone's memory will be pretty much the same, be it weather it was when they had their 1st pvp kill or when they found their 1st gun.

When the game was pulled from the Steam store and Sergey and Patrick had a melt down. Also when Patrick Bowman aka Kewk had his forum mod privileges revoked for being a dbag.

I love this game only because it makes me laugh everytime they eff up, which if not daily is a weekly occurance.

Yep, best moment ever? Steam pull down. Epic. :)

2nd best moment?

Sergey confused.

Being chased by a thug and leading them to their death. I lured them to an area I had passed full of zombies in a room. I jumped on a some crates and laughed as he ran in only to be instantly swarmed and killed by zombies. His cursed at me as I made my way around the edges of the wall up high just close enough to steal his stuff. Military NVG, ACOG, etc. Best loot haul ever.

Game has been patched heavily since the Steam issue. If you actually spend time visiting forums of games you dislike. You are a much bigger ♥♥♥♥♥♥ than the people you think are ignorant for still playing.

Their marketing and the hard work the developers do are two different entities. Do I agree with their antics? No. But patch after patch they have worked hard to continue making the game a playable specimen.

So yes please come into every discussion and respond as if your only jerk worthy aspirations are to respond and troll a game you apparently never play.

Grow the eff up.

What the ♥♥♥♥ has that got to do with anything that I asked?

Learn to ♥♥♥♥ing read before you make a post. I wasn't asking weather people like or dislike the game or what they think about the dev's because in all honesty, I know what I think and that's good enough for me. Each to their own and each to themselves be true. I was trying to keep this thread clean of crap like that and on point.

Dude, you have less than 2 hrs of play time on it. That's a lot of vitriol to defend a game you barely play. As for art, I see in the new update shots they didn't fix the floor texture issue in the bar. Those nails are still massive, the same color range as the wood, no specular highlights (those can be in the diffuse color if you don't have the memory for a spec enabled material shader), have no width cuts (20 ft long floor boards) and the nails are laid out in a perfect line (look at any floor built that way, not perfect layout). They did get rid of those really bad wood boxes though, that a point in their favor. The terrain textures are still streaky and noticeably pixelated low res when you look at them side by side with the player models/buildings. How are the animations coming along? I didn't notice any changes.

On an unrelated note, whatever happened to the other developers of Big Rigs? I want to see their other games but Metacritic only has their info: http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/big-rigs-over-the-road-racing/details
But I can only find the few Stellar Stone games that you can't find anymore. Are they the WarZ team?

BTW my favorite part of teh WAR Z has to be the cool music when you are in the menu.
Cadderley Feb 2, 2013 @ 10:06pm
I gotta say Hanging that I did like the atmosphere at night playing the War Z. To bad I felt like Stevie Wonder because I couldn't see where I was going... And please, no cheese grater jokes :p :)

I didn't notice before but the graphics really do look great at night!

I never play via Steam. But thank you.

If you actually read my post you would understand that it doesn't even matter how much time I have spent in the game. The argument is against the types of people that spend their actually living breathing time spending it downplaying a game they barely or rarely follow or play.

If you have issues with the game. Take them up on the suggestion forums.

Dave. I understand you probably did not read in between the lines of my post.

But my response was not directed at you but to the negative commenters to your post. Instead of answering your question they took their time to bad mouth the game without giving clear reasons other than the past failure at marketing.

So I am unclear as to why you are barking at me. But hey, I guess you wanted to join the circle jerk of people defending their bad mouthing of a game instead of giving clear experiences in the game like you asked.

But hey. Sheep mentality can go astray.
