Looks like low end pc users are to blame...
Let's take a look at a thread that popped up. (Link)[forums.playwarz.com]
So what do we see? The video that was shown in PAX 2012. It shows really cool scenery, ambient noises, using ingame voice chat or something and zombies with ANIMATIONS! Yes! It was that advanced in Alpha stage apparently. It looks really cool. Especially that flashlight on the gun. Yum yum.

But why wasn't all this cool stuff included in the full release? According to the official statement from RussianKaliber, it was because low end pc users would have too much trouble to run this game. Which means that Hammerpoint deliberately brought the game down to such a point, that the zombies doesn't even have animations anymore.

Am I the only one who thinks this is complete and utter baloney? If this game had been in development in YEARS, yes I said years because that is what they claimed, wouldn't this been fixed by now? They say this in their faq: "[...]by industry veterans with decades of combined game development experience."

Why can't they add some simple animations then? Why can't they optimize their own game? They're veterans! How is this possible? Did everyone suddenly catch a brain virus that turned everyone into first year students and broke the game? They even went to the community and asked the users for help in what they wanted for animations...

WHEN THEY ARE VETERANS! Why, please tell me, would veterans in making games be so confused as to what kind of animations they need to implement, that they need to ask their community.

Since they're veterans, why couldn't they figure this out on their own?

Why? Just...I dont even anymore...

Yay, that's someone else Hammerpoint have found to blame.

They will probably blame disabled people who like playing games for a ♥♥♥♥ poor control scheme next.

I'm surprised someone hasn't sued this company for discrimination up to now. They've blamed just about everyone else for their own mistakes at this moment in time.

It really shows how much respect they have for other people. Game not working correctly? Probably the costumer. Game not delievered with features? People misread. People use legitimate camping tactics? Fa-gots.

They have decades of experience in making c64 and DOS games. Never had any experience in new gfx challenging games. The only thing they have thats challenging is their mental state! They are mentally challenged!

Yeah well, that just goes to show that it's one rule for Sergey and the Dev/Mod team and 1 rule for everyone else. They've banned people for coming out with less than calling someone a f**got.

He who live's by the sword should die by the sword (metaphorically speaking).

It's easy to pretty up a small area and present it than it is to handle the entire game that way. That is clearly what they did. As for the sounds and animations... well those clearly exist and I cannot offer a reasonable explanation on why those would be cut. The voice chat might not actually be in game. A 3rd party program could have been used. If the poster of that video is the player we see playing and hear someone could always ask him.

Apparently it is 3rd party voice communications programs such as skype that are responsible for people being banned by the fairfight system.

Don't forget the fake screenshots they had in July and the ones on steam. I seroiusly don't know what they are thinking still having those screenshots up. The game does not look that beautiful and it never will. It also showed CARS that aren't even in the game. This game is a complete scam

I highly doubt that no anti-cheat would list commonly used legit programs as cheats. It would have to be intentional and seeing how fairfight wishes to be widely adopted and used in games much like punkbuster it wouldn't make sense for them to ban innocent players for having Skype, MSN, or heck even Steam can be used as a voice chat for games without it.
Such a practice would only mean certain failure and that's why I wouldn't believe it, because they aren't going to shoot themselves in the foot.

I'm just going off what some of the player's who were "wrongly" banned were saying in the War Z forums. Some of them either had Frap's (I think it was called), Team Speak or Skype running, therefore some of them assumed that their communications software was being detected by Fairfight as a hacking program since they reported that these programs were the only programs (other than those started by Windows and one's that were running in the back ground) being used at the time that they were kicked out of the game and banned.

It kind of makes sense also if you think about it. Hammerpoint must have known that if no voice communication software was built into the game that player's would use 3rd party programs. I'm not saying it's deliberate or anything, It's purely circumstancial but still, using 3rd party software seem's to have landed some players with a perma ban. Especially since no proof of the hack's have really been shown other than the old "we have undeniable proof that you were hacking" M.O. that dev's at Hammerpoint like to fall back on.

Correct me if I am wrong but Fairfight is not actually connected to Hammerpoint directly but rather WarZ just happens to use it as a anti-cheat. There are even Battlfield 3 servers that run it. I'm not trying to take a stance on the quality of the anti-cheat as I do not have enough experience to make such a judgement. But if I am correct than Hammerpoint wouldn't be able to say ban people for Skype. No more than a non Valve game that uses VAC could make such a outrageous demand.

This company simply isn't going to ruin its reputation and future simply for Hammerpoint.
People tend to find things that are co-existingly true but unconnected and mistakenly connect them. For example crime rates went down drastically when abortions became more readily available in America. But even if that had a effect it would be foolish to think that abortions alone somehow dictated such a large shift Yet there are people who indeed try to connect this as the main or even sole reason.

Am I saying these people were cheating for sure? Absolutely not. But it's highly unlikely such programs caused it, also the anti-cheat wouldn't discriminate against only some of them. If Skype was one of the programs than 100% of people running Skype would have been effected. Anti-cheats don't just randomly give a pass to some and ban others. The banned naturally had those in common because they are simply common programs but no doubt completely unconnected.
