Then it was sad day for humanity.

http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3
a multimillion dollar game (thats a great score they got)
78-23 =/= 1
didnt say 0.1 ???
http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/the-war-z (1.3)
http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3 (2.3)
try the actual user score. They seem more real than the 10 critics guys review
I hereby challenge you to find a game with a lower user score than The War Z on Metacritic.
to be honest I hated every min of COD MW3 it was terrible the story to end was the only good part about it.
Now the critics have potentialy played the game what 2-3 hours max then decided on the score.
Not really enought time to actually play the game now is it.
infact I wouldnt even bother as much but the majority of people even here do not have the game, have not played the game and possibly have only seen whatever of the game on youtube.
I do not care so much for the critics review a prefer the actual players as they are the people who have played the game for countless hours and have come up with their own decision.
just take a look at half the films, other games etc with great reviews . The majority of those great films, games , music are rubbish.
make your own opinion of something before judging it is what I say.
I put my own review there. So did some obvious shills for Hammerpoint who gave maximum points (that means flawless which everyone can agree this game is not), and some obvious troll posts that gave 0 with no reasoning.
My opinion on this game is based on: unethical business moves by the devs, misleading or false claims on content, the racist and homophobic statements by Titov and others on the dev team, the lack of a cohesive anti-cheat resulting in the perma-banning of innocent players, censorship of the MODs, lying about the status of the trademark (this game WILL have to change its' name or shut down before Paramount and World War Z decides to force the matter), requesting players give good reviews on Metacritic (another reason not to trust Player reviews), not releasing any info of the dev team (few other companies are this hard to find info on), setting up shell LLCs (sure sign that something shady is going on), charging people for items that are lost on death (it's simple to create at least a hashtable that can store your purchases so you don't lose them), charging for weapons and NVG which causes massive imbalance and unfairness in gameplay, no actual quests or collectibles or even achievements only PVP (not a solid base for an in depth game), textures are of differing resolution or stretched or have been blurred, bad uvs on models causing lines and glimpses of the empty space, animations are stunted and slow (not enough frames and really unnatural...I'm only talking about the human ones), Models are not sized correctly RVs that tower over the player etc, collision issues, loading issues, crashing issues, I could go on for hours but you hopefully get the point. At this time the game is comparable to someones first attempt to create a full conversion of the Unreal Tournament. It doesn't even look as good (and has more bugs) than a mid-Junior year game made at most Game Development schools.
I hope the devs distance themselves from the upper management that caused most of these, and takes the time necessary to polish it. However based on Arktos Entertainments actions in the last decade I will not be surprised if/when this is abandoned like previous games, War Inc being the most recent.
Have you looked on Steam btw at the War Z page? Apparently 2551 (last count if I remember right) players would reccomend the game to their friends. I almost fell off my chair when I read it. Feared a trip to spec savers mught be in order but no, it deffinately said 2551.
Gone up to 2574 now.
At least 007 is still doing a little better :)
