After a week, my impression of WarZ

Having been into dayz, wasteland bf3 etc etc i was a little hesitant in purchasing because it was beta and I remember the early versions of dayz. So I took a chance.

Amazing!! Really enjoying it. The atmosphere, The weapons, the Zombies all top notch! The way team play is encouraged is excellent and keeps the bandits away. As its been in development longer than dayz it's abit more polished. The buy system is ok i would like more items (you should see the helmet i bought lol)I think I really needed something that was cheat free and due to the custom anti cheat program has made it a pleasant experience.I love reading all the hackers tears when they are banned! Really looking to more Colorado with the full version.

A few bugs here and there so I would give it a 9 out of 10

Yeah it is a fun game and well worth the £10 (250hrs+) but the developers and company deserve no credit they are truly the worst I have ever seen. All they have done is stolen someone elses idea and released the bare minimum of a game they could get away with they obviously rushed it out to make all the money before Dayz standalone came out.

It's only sold so well due to the new/refreshing genre, Dayz success with it (I dont like Dayz mod hoping standalone will change that) and the majority of ppl hoover up anything zombie related.

I will however love the Devs/Company if they manage to release the Skill tree, Side Quests, Anti-hack system, Strongholds, A New map, VOIP etc because this game/genre is a sleeping giant it really could be epic i've waited for so long for a game like this.

Because War Z is such an easy target i would have to agree with Olaf.
But still you kept your role and kept it "real". You definitely have great potential.

As a person who grew up in Boulder, I'm still marveling at the amazing lack of research the level designers did... a giant river flowing through Boulder? What map did they look at? Skyscrapers in Boulder? Not going to happen. NO ****ING UNIVERSITY OR FOOTBALL STADIUM? All of these are iconic Colorado landmarks. Just type Colorado into Google image search and take a look at how bad of a job they did. Do some research Hammerpoint, it's the first thing a designer should do.

Ah you are correct, I forgot that time the creek that used to be just big enough to float a couple inner tubes down flooded so bad it made it all the way to the highway. :D
I guess that would mean Boulder High is underwater in the War Z. Too bad, I could have wandered the old halls for a little while.
I was looking at that LA type highway overpass situation thinking, wow a lot of construction companies must have been really happy!
