The truth about this subreddit? It's ♥♥♥♥ing run by hammer point. Yes it may sound like ♥♥♥♥ to you but the subreddit is ran by hammer point interactive. Kewk the most arrogant ♥♥♥♥ I've ever talked to pretty much has leverage over the entire mod team and has ever since there was a controversy about the subreddit on /r/gaming. They have personally threatened the entire mod team with legal repercussions if they didn't comply with hammer points interactive's demands. I you don't believe me just remember that your dealing with a company where they pulled members from War Inc; our f2p game that was never polished fully if at all. We were encouraged to look at dayz and 'learn' from it, hammer point had there own dayz servers to study player activities. Unique assets were out the window as well as making every weapon and every asset in te map was too time consuming. Want to know another cool fact? The map is 4k x 4k with the player/zombie models shrunk in half (some buildings weren't fully rescaled), it ♥♥♥♥ed with the physics engine and explains why a hill will murder you and jumping off a bridge will keep you alive. The hacker bait was also true, I know the people who placed the spawns ingame personally and they did so very carelessly. Remember what happened to Devin? His account was never hacked into, the deletions and bans were done off of a hammer point IP address. Why? Because we deemed that the mods had too much knowledge about future plans. Mods were shared in conversation with the devs via Skype and were given loads of info. The mods were literally friends with the devs. Devins apology video was due to a lawyer pretty much throwing his nuts in a clamp.


What's my point?

This reddit is controlled by hammer point.
Devs were encouraged to steal from DayZ.
Devin was made an example of.
We were instructed to bash DayZ and any possible competition.
♥♥♥♥ Kewk and most of all ♥♥♥♥ you Sergey Titov. I will never land a job in this ♥♥♥♥ing industry ever again thanks to you. You also stole from a ♥♥♥♥ing MOD to make money.

The game is shutting down at the end of Februrary, have fun!

Can't say that I am completely surprised by this. Kewk seem's like just the sort of person who would do something like this. The plot just keep's getting better and better. What if though, It doesn't fold up in Februaury? I guess that we will all just have to wait and see how it unfolds.

The reddit post that was deleted claims to be a developer of the game. But without anything to back it up it could be anyone. As much as I am anti-WarZ and Hammerpoint we should be fair and only work with what we know to be facts to speak against them.

But in all seriousness I just find it amusing that when Valve wagged their finger at them that they raged and decided to not even watch these forums. Now it's up to Valve to do it which I am sure isn't going to make their relationship with Valve any better. If there is anyway we are all wrong and they are legit they sure don't act like it and likely will cost themselves any chance of success.
