WarZ is like DayZ's ret*rded little cousin, and most likely he will never return to Steam.
It's sad really, his parents don't really love him, never gave him any real loving attention...And we all know he will die soon because he is so sick and all...
So then it's not a real competition, really...
I'm guessing that Valve have an idea of how popular the game's going to be when it is released so they won't miss a chance to get the game put on sale as soon as possible and call me cynicle but I'm expecting, even if it is released in Alpha, it to be a much better game than either Day Z mod or the War Z though I guess that's obvious.
Forget downloading games when the Day Z stand alone comes out because the steam servers will be so slow for a day or two it will bottleneck the line to their servers.
First of all, Dean Hall and his team are working really hard on making the game as good as possible.
And Dean himself has spoken out on the whole War Z scandal and oh boy, he was not happy at all as this has hit him not only in the professional way but also personally as friends and family have mistaken The War Z for his game and accused him of unethical behaviour.
But yeah, like Sioux said, its not really a competition as DayZ will win in the end over The War Z, since Hammerpoint Interactive has just about given up on any of their games, most notably War Inc: Battle Zone, which hasn't been updated in months.
that true, Dean got accused for all what WarZ sh*t done, i feel his pain. Back then Dean hall accept WarZ as one of the competition, now he just not happy to what warz have done.
I'll go one further and say that I bet that all future releases for the pc between now and new years day 2014 beat the War Z onto the Steam store :p
I'll raise you with any titles coming onto steam, EVER, I doubt steam will dirty their hands with this again, the only reason this forum is here is because of the previous sales, they have to leave the steam page up.
Ok, I'll reraise. I bet steam turn their servers off for good before this pile of ♥♥♥♥♥ manages to get back on sale again. Beat that :p.
I see your raise and raise you "The end of the world"
Ok, I see you're raise and re-raise to the end of the universe, the entire cosmos and all life in it.
Kewk does obviously. Otherwise he's out of a jorb. :D
Why else would hammerpoint rush their release :p
