That's not actually a thing that exists, or is ever going to exist. That is a proper, actual scam.

Maybe it's supposed to be a joke, but either way, people can donate money to that thing, so the guy's a scamming ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Scammers gonna scam, but I suppose judging by the timing The War Z probably did spawn this particular angle.

We can start creating the 3d models, texture, rigging etc. the game development cycle should take two months. we should finish by early march. we are creating a website so ,so stay tuned for updates from my twitter feed and the indiegogo campaign.

It figures, the "success" of WarZ is going to continue to be used to try to exploit and scam the gaming community by others now too. This however of course is a small-fry looking to make a small amount and likely lacks the talent to make a early running build of a game like WarZ at-least is.

He even steals art to make it appear as concept art.

Scamming is still scamming however. Just because WarZ resembles a extremely early stage of development that you would show investors does not make it okay simply because it's playable. With your logic I could release a game missing the majority of textures, lacking any animation while showing screenshots and other media that totally differs from reality that you would be okay with that. That would be just one step behind WarZ's development.

I decided to go and report it despite it not collecting a single dollar as of yet. Stealing other peoples work is very immoral and should be brought to the light regardless of the lack of profit.

I'm just saying The War Z is at least a thing. You pay and you get a thing. This guy is literally just taking people's money. Or trying to. Poorly.
