When this game was released on Steam, I thought it was complete. Then it turned out that wasn't the case at all.

But exactly how early in development is this game? Well, it is so early in development they are asking their community for animation advice.

I wish I was making this up. Hammerpoint, if you can't even finish the ANIMATIONS before releasing it on Steam, you probably should reconsider your profession.

So what does this mean for the future? I think it will mean probably 1 or 2 years of development before it can be safely introduced back into Steam. But what do I know, I was just one of the poor peasants who misread the Steam store page.

Looks like the thread has died down on the official forums now. Only thing you actually can say at this point is lol.

Apparntly these new sights and silencer's you cannot even obtain in game. Only through the shop =s

Hate to say I told you so to some of the War Z fans who disputed this when I said this a month ago but................I told you so. Guns are next. This is going quickly to the real model which is Pay 2 Win. OH and they also bought the game and were promised they would never have to pay for anything again.

Original disgruntled buyers thought THEY were ripped off, wait till the market goes into full force. :D

I think they reliase their game is dying now, and they are just going to throw everything into the cash shop, get as much cash as they can. Then move onto the other 2/3 games they said they are going to work on.

Just wanted to add a little to the discussion.

So why isn't these animations in the game? Did they forget that they had these pictures or what? I mean, taking screenshots and then not adding animations, is just completely amature.

I find that to be quite amusing and sad. I'm having a hard time even buying it, I feel like they must be trolling at this point. There are so many movies and games that could be used to observe and get a general idea and good judgement on how the zombies should move and the variations of movement. If you're making or scratch that MADE a zombie game and have to turn to the community for suggestions on such a topic than it really goes to show that they put no thought or effort behind this game.

This has nothing to do with development time, it's like they live in some sort of bubble and the bubble keeps them ignorant. If we were to a child and tell the child to move around like a zombie the kid would likely do a decent job. Is Hammerpoint so incompetent that they cannot even match a single child?

You know it's not even the right way to even go about asking for advice. Trying to describe precise movements of a animated figure with words is not going to work. This is why both movies and games try to use visual aids to get the general idea whenever the question arises of how should it look. Tony Hawk games for example had the developers watch the skate boarding tricks be done so that they could accurately recreate them in the game. Nowadays you could just use a motion capture suit as well.

The one thing, is now gone.
All ammo, body armors, night vision goggles, supreme meds, all attachments.

Anyone that say's this is a zombie survival game is clueless. There will be no scavanging soon, go in buy all your items play the deathmatch. Repeat.
People better no assoiciate this with the dayz standalone ffs.

I mildly like DayZ and havn't touched it in quite awhile now. but it's a shame because WarZ will likely effect DayZ sales. The close name and theme. People are going to think it's going to be just like WarZ.

Its been said before, and I believe 'true or not' that was the idea, to cash in on those of us who were waiting with baited breath for DAYZSA It was a blaitent and undeniable cash grab.
