What ARE we doing?

Clans - We know… no seriously WE KNOW. This has been talked about for a long time and even dates for release have been given out. I PROMISE you it is coming. We just want to make sure it is working at 100% before we roll it out to you. This is a top priority for the team and we are doing the best we can to get it to you ASAP.

Melee - Awwweeee yeah! Melee is coming to the game! I expect to see some AWESOME montages with melee kills once we release it! :D

Consumables - We are hard at work on consumables like Medkids, Bandages, Motion Sensor, Riot Shield, Turrets and more!

Vehicles - We had some initial vehicles working and to be flat out honest they did not work to our liking so we went back to the drawing board and are currently working on new vehicles that are MUCH more fun to play with. They are SO much more fun now and I hope to get a video to show you soon!

Destructible Objects - With the introduction of vehicles it just wouldn’t make sense if we didn’t have “things” within the game world that didn’t break

Crossroads - We are doing a brand new Crossroads that was designed for vehicles and destructible objects!

Deathmatch Maps - Our designers have been VERY hard at work making a bunch of new Deathmatch maps for you guys. We have been playing them internally and they are fantastic! We cannot wait to unleash these out to you guys and will do a play with devs day featuring those maps once they are released!

These are the main things that we are currently working on. As always we are looking at fixing any bugs you guys report AND continually stopping any new hacks that might make it passed our anit-cheat software.

None off theese happend, also they look familiar to promises in Warz right?

Please buyers DO NOT GIVE THEESE PEOPLE MONEY, they need to be punished.
And do not defend them, they have proven that they can't be trusted.

And if you're gonna comment, pls don't flame my poor english, or my poor writing.

In case anybody's curious and doesn't want to look for themselves, that War, Inc., developer blog was the last one ever posted. And it was posted in May of 2012. Seriously? They just abandoned the game - frankly, you'd be a fool not to think they'll do the exact same thing to The War Z.

Also, check this ♥♥♥♥ out:

Literally everything in that War, Inc. picture was recycled in The War Z. Good ♥♥♥♥.

I would complain if I had ever even heard of it pre-War Z. I'm not a War, Inc., consumer though, so I don't really have much to say about it other than "looks shoddy, player base loathes the devs, do not play."

Because they have battered wife syndrome by now :P

It's ok to like the game, the problem is giving money and supporting the devs.

If they do make a profit, and get away with this(If they do just leave) they will do it again, and other will see the $ in doing games in this manner.

Consumerist loyality is the new religion of the masses. We have all met people that are zealot loyalists to brands without any logical reason to be. Video games aren't a exception to this rule. These zealots most of the time won't even take fair and justified critisms of their beloved brand lightly.

As to why people do this... well studies have shown that people with this mentality get the same brain pattern reactions when thinking or seeing the brand they are loyal to in the same manner that a very religous person does when thinking or viewing images that cator to their religous beliefs.

If you want to go deeper down the rabbit hole and ask why do people do that then. One theory is that most people need to feel apart of something. It doesn't matter what that something is as long as that something is precieved to be larger than themsevles. We all do seem to dedicate our lives to something don't we? This likely stems from our tribal instincts, the tribe is larger than you, so you do anything for the tribe. But it seems the tribe can be replaced with just about anything that gives the same feeling , from worshipping Dionysus, to fighting for civil rights, having strong nationalist views, or yes even as something as small as a video game and those behind the making of it.

If by support you mean approve of or like... I'm not sure anyone does that.

and if you mean "pay money for the game" it is because we want to play the game, but either are against stealing it or are too lazy to steal it.

People have been defending both the game's quality and the devs though. Where do you think this constant informed speech of it being in beta still stems from? Hell one of the fanboys on here even got hit with the last ban waves.

I wrote a FREE tool 12 years ago, which was used by many players. Some of them asked me to add some features.. i tried to.. well i ended up adding nothing because i couldnt find the time.
Does that make me a scammer?

WarInc (as far as i know.. and please correct me if i am wrong) was free to play. If they feel the game is not yielding enough profit.. its their right to give up on it. Actually many people trying to found something end up losing a lot of money because they dont know when to stop.

I dont think its ok to do it that way.. but as i do not know this story .. i will jsut keep it at : its their game and their choice.
It is also totally ok to reuse those models and textures in a better game thats worth the work they put in... BUT.. this time its not for free. They cannot just stop. While i dont think that it is smart to go this way, its totally viable and i see no problem.

Maybe they will stop WarZ as well.. maybe not.. If anyone played Warhammer online .. i saw false advertising, real lies such as "we are done with the game and only working on the balance" , a game being released 2 years (!!!) after this statement with 30% of the content missing and no balance AT ALL. When WoW started selling the first version they claimed that the monthly fee included all coming add ons.. scam ?
Both examples i named were payed 10€ per month and 40€ for the game itself + even more for the addons.
WarZ is 10€ in total... its already ok as it is right now for that price.. even if they run off with the money.. it was still worth it for me and many other players.

Some people would have me viewed as a loyalist or defender of this game, I however am not, I'm merely reserving the right to reserve judgment based on the fact that I haven't heard of this company/dev team or anyone on it, prior to this game, and so far I enjoy War Z a little bit. 'If anything I'm upset about... it's how quickly people jumped on the bandwagon of tearing this game down, and how the game was marketed to anyone at a $ amount being as unfinished as it is, and why so many 'intelligent' individuals bought it if they thought it was a bad idea to support 'said devs' to begin with.
To me from the outside of this argument looking in, It looked like a bunch of people attacking something for no good reason, Some people have presented apparent facts to me, and I'm reviewing them in great detail. I am on the fence atm, having no real proof of their mis-conducts to the gaming community at large, and I will deliver my own verdict on this game when I feel it's been out long enough to critique fairly, as it's still not at a stage where it can be called a complete game, and even though I enjoy playing it from time to time, I wouldn't DARE give it a good review atm, let alone a bad one.

Rome wasn't built in a day, and War Z definitely is a 'work in progress'(I mean it'd have to be in the current state it is in.)

Bon3zz1001 12 Ιαν, 2013 @ 2:38μμ
They know they're wrong in every single aspect yet they only try to defend the game simply because they wasted their money and are looking for any excuse they can take to try and justify their purchase.. It's amazing that anybody capable of using common sense even tries to defend this game.

I mean, approve, like and pay money.

Edit: Do you want devs like theese, to make games you like? Realy?
