Private servers...

Ok so someone mentioned Katanas and all that in another post on this forum and it got me thinking "oh no here he goes again" :P...

Has any one actually got any idea how much these private servers are going to cost? And you do realise that you will be paying monthly then right, for this game? Also has any information other than "coming soon" been released as to when they are expected to be bought online? Would you also like to bet that they won't be here before christmas? Would you actually rent one for this game? Because i won't in all honesty, If i wanted to play an MMO i would just stick to playing wow and going on dead island for the zombie kill fest. Would you trust their security considering all of the carry on with these Denial of service attacks? And would you trust them not to ban you for hacking even though it's a private server? Would you also trust them not to carry out unscheduled server wipes and to protect your client confidentiallity and credit card information? Considering everything that has happened?

Because, in good faith, I can't and won't under the circumstances. I just see private servers as a way of making even more money and a way of getting round having to deal with the hackesr/anti-cheating system and offering a pve environment when there should be a dedicated PVE environment anyway.

private servers? 120$ for 1yr, which they then say after 6months "Oh, not enough funding, we have to closed down the game" or 60$ for 6 months, ether way, they get their money, I honestly want people to get refunds via the company they used to pay for the game, not hammerpoint themselfs, as they will just rant at you and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you to try and make you not get a refund, and if you do, they ban all your acounts without actually giving you a refund.

Yeah i agree, they should allow people to run their own servers instead of forceing people to rent.
