The game was a pack of lies: not just incomplete and buggy, but downright dishonest. Steam took it down because the developer is unhelpful and the game is a sham. Metascore of 16/100 on the store page should help you.

you can go2 the website thewarz.com and purchase it there and then look on the forums it will have a way for you to link it to your steam account. I would personally try and make a decision yourself, when DayZ first came out, every1 and their mother told me to avoid but now every1 and their mother tells me its great. Go fig.......

thats if the servers are up. The servers to their home page is down in some regions of the world. If they were responsible though, they wouldn't even sell the War Z on their own page until they have resolved the denial of service attacks since the people who buy it in affected parts of the world won't be able to log in and play it, assuming that is that their home page is even up in those areas.

lol like they care about players not able to play their game, as long as they can buy it, thats all that matters to them from what i've seen.

sadly i think you are right, and the new petition thats been started has people saying that they are going to buy the game when it comes back on steam already, not that i am by any means surprised by this.

Seriously, when every major review site gives this game, on average something like 20/100 what does that tell you? And then you litterally have thousands of posts, yet alone forum topics on how bad the game is. Not everyone can be wrong.

because we all had the experience, everyone raves about a game, every magazine talks about how epic it is, how it will change your life. So you buy aaaaaaannnnnnnndddd 2 hours later you hate it and never want to touch it again.
