Lets start I would like to ask you guys why do you hate this game? I have not meet a single hacker the game is good and I like it. Why would you like to remove it from steam since it is already removed. Whats the point off all the rage just dont buy it why should you care that much?

Because the rage isn't even about the quality of the game. It's about being lied to, deceived, scammed. So yeah I do care that people are being taken advantage of. All I can do is advise people not to purchase this game.

Why do threads like this pop up everyday asking the same question?

On the official War Z forums there are many threads discussing the constant hacking and constant bugs within the game - also being refused refunds. You will also get cursed at by the moderators and developers if you join the discussion.

Contary to your stupid belief many of us have played this game so don't go judging others that you wouldn't want to judge you!

Tell your buddies to stop the same copy & paste threads asking the same copy & paste questions it's getting old. In fact soon no one will reply them, give it a few days.

True, but that's because there is a lot to rage about. All of the negativity this company has received since this whole controversy started is justified.

Very true! Me and some of my friends saw the game description which at the time had MMORPG in it, and features like; skill trees (plural), crafting, and building block stronghold building, progression and persistent world so naturally we jumped at it and bought it when it was on sale for $14.99 back in ALPHA (not on steam). So we naturally were very disappointed to find out it was a generic shooter, but hopeful that all these promised features would come soon. Well the Beta came still just a FPS with zombies for ascetics in this kill on site and get as many PVP kill streaks (With the only thing missing is ordnance drops for a streak of 3 or more). Since we bought the game all over the forums everywhere and Face Book tons of people kept asking for PVE servers or at least flags, skill trees, and everything that was described above, so we kept hope. Then when all the Bans for using Steam or TeamSpeak overlays came, and ZERO RPG or PVE features still absent nor in progress we all left (35 of us in our clan), besides others that I know of! I know that there are people that like the game the way it is, and that’s OK, but the game to very many was misleading and not what they wanted it to be (as advertised/promised)! I love Battlefield 3 and Halo 4 (well all Halos), and Call OF Duty series, in other words I like FPS games, but this is not what a lot of people thought this game was or was going to be (since in production). A very good graphic Dead State (Still in production) was what I personally envisioned. In other words blatant false advertising to make sales, banning to generate more sales as sheeple rebuy the game. Scam from the beginning, any of these practices alone are not worthy of a reputable Steam Store, community, or support!

I think it's amusing that the OP claims he doesn't see any hackers when chances are he himself is one. Vac bans on record so he's cheated on a Vac protected game for sure. He could have changed his ways but there is little reason to respect anyone who is known to have done the very act previously.

Anyhow, as to why people feel about the game as they do.

#1 is the generally poor outlook on the game that most players and professional reviewers have on it.

#2 The lies of the developers

#3 The behavior of the developers, everything from homophobic comments, to banning innocent players purposefully, to cheating in the very game that they made.

#4 The terrible anti-hack system which has banned many innocent players because the method behind it isn't even a hack detection but rather a flagged weapons that can only be picked up by cheaters but can get in the hands of innocent players and get them banned.

#5 They plan on dropping support for the game and walking away from it in 6 months. It's a quick cash grab to lure people in with high promises and a awesome sounding game that actually underdelivers and of course is literally a scam.

Lastly #6 Anyone who practices and cares for the hobby that is playing video games should stand up and not accept any of the things listed above. Because if we allow something like this to happen then it will be attempted over and over again. Let's not forget this game even made it on Steam. The last thing we need is to get bombarded with this over and over again.
We need to keep gaming as pure as possible. No one is going to do that for us, that is up to us.

Unfortunately many people don't care, just as long as they play the game. Tbh I feel sorry for them, that they are bliinded by the truth of it. It's exactly what Sergei was hoping for, and why he has been getting away with it for as long as he has. I really am surprised Sergei hasn't had a lawsuit as his and hammerpoints actions are criminal.
