Fire sale ripoff!

We just got some GC for free like 2 weeks ago and today we got a fire sale. Just after we have spent all 1000 GC it happened of course. I think the people who make the game and the support by giving us GC are just stupid because, we have wasted our GC and then wow fire sale.

they gave you free GC you ignorant jerk, exept it with gratitude same as the fire sale where everything is 50 percent off be thankfull, they didnt need to give you 1000 gc or have this sale!!!

First, I dont think you understand what a fire sale is because you are using the term in very much the wrong manner. A fire sale is when a company sells off assets at very discounted prices because they are faced with an impending closure of the company (normally bankrupcy) at very short notice. So they sell off their assests to help offset the losses from the bankrupcy. Virtual items are not assets, and the company is not facing closure by bankrupcy or otherwise.

This is a "sale" not a "fire sale". There is a difference. Words have meaning, so use the correct words.

Second, you are complaining because you got GC for free from the company, and you have used that already? I fail to see a cogent argument on how they have done anything wrong. You seem to suggest that you should somehow be given more free GC to spend on the sale?

Well you too guys have a point and i agree with your opinion but they should have given the sale for items more early because some people when they got the 1000 GC they just wasted it all because they where happy and excited. That not to say i am right or wrong.

I'm sorry but your logic does not make sense. I think it is because you are begining from the position that Hammerpoint should be giving you things. And this is a false premise. Any and every company comes into existnce for one sole purpose, and it isn't to give you things for free it is to make money.

No company in it's right mind would do what you are suggesting. Lets assume that for some reason Barnes and Noble give all of it's customers who own a Nook a $50 giftcard. Maybe they lost a law suit, maybe there was some type of defect and they are buying good will. The reason is immaterial. Now they know for a fact that all of their customers have this giftcard. Would it make sense for them to instantly discount all of their products in response to this? They would, in effect, be giving all of their customers a double discount and reward. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Second problem with your theory is that everyone wasted those GC already. Really? You dropped 1500GC already? I haven't touched that yet, and while I assume a lot of people have spent some I also assume most people have some ability to regulate impulse control spending and haven't used it all.

like others said.. u complain about using FREE GC.. and that if u had knew sooner u woulnd't have spent them.. let me explain why this doesn't work.. let's say they did advice 10 days before the sale.. people that had spent GC 11 days before it would complain.. they warned 15 days before? people that used GC 16 days before would complain and so on..
i understand your position and what u'd like.. but it's something u have to accept
