Dev Defense
Ok, so I know ppl have been pretty hard on this game. I respect that there are aspects of this game which, to say the least, displease ppl. But I just want to say this, War Z is NOT a complete game yet, it has flaws, like any other thing in existence. However; you cant say that the ppl responsible for improving, and developing this game are doing absolutely nothing. It is clear that the Devs are reading the forums, and paying at least some attention to the complaints they are recieving. If they weren't then this game would not have continued on its path to completion as we have seen. There may be a ways to go, but we are well along the path to making this game great, and we, as the community of players, and yes even the hackers, are contributing to making this game everything it could be. So for those in resent, I respect your opinions, for those in favor, thank you for your resilience. For all, be patient, WE can make this game better every day.

With that said I would like to add some input to, hopefully, improve The War Z. First, while some unloaded ammo I understand realistically shouldnt stack, cmon, arrows? I can hold quite a few arrows in just one hand. The composite bow, while it has a scope that isnt actually present in the sighting of the weapon, is overpowered for ranged silent kills; anyone who has amassed enough arrows to clear an area, deserves to be able to stack them for conveniences' sake. As well as the fact that an individual arrow does not take up so much space as to merrit one space in your bag. My next point, as more of a plea to the Dev's, ppl with katana's paid cash money for them, can we please make them one shot kills when aiming at the head? it would be a one shot if we swung it at a living persons head wouldnt it? Yes it would. One final input, which would be very useful IMO, in the marketplace, put a filter which allows you to sort ALL items in the ENTIRE marketplace by a given in-game money value. I have 20,000 bucks and the hardest part of figuring out how to spend it is remembering everything from each individual tab that i can afford with 'x' amount of money.

P.S.
For all you trolls out there, I am not going to be checking this post EVER, so if you feel the need to waste your time flaming me, go right ahead. I like this game, I like being a part of its improvement, I like it FAR more then I liked Dayz, and the potential for this game has by far yet to be filled, and that should be ENCOURAGING, because WE, the GAMERS can be that change. Even the hackers are a part of that change. Again, this game has weaknesses, but to embrace only its weaknesses, is itself a sign of weakness. We have miles to go before we're done, and the Devs are OBVIOUSLY responding to us to complete the journey of a game that was once only a dream, and with everyday becomes more of a complete reality. SUPPORT WAR Z, its never too late to be great, many great things encountered failure before they became great, just because their failures werent in public view does not mean that they never experienced failures.

support warz?? I smell fanboy

*lets see if he truly doesn't reply to this thread* no point in making a thread to not even reply to it, sounds like someone is angry that ppl are badmouthing their beloved warz, and doesn't want to come back and check how badly it gets flammed.

No one said this game was complete. That's not what's being argued. What IS being argued is the practices of the developers. Their blatant disregard for the community, haphazard way of dealing with hackers (some of which are only "hackers" by removing the quotes), deletion of legitimate complaint threads, banning players for little to no reason with no recourse available, blaming the Steam community, calling those that list bugs a "vocal minority", doctored images portrayed as in-game, and overall bad handling of the release. Any developer worth their salt will tell you if you're going to Vegas to celebrate the day of release; you need to be kicked out from your job because release day is when complaints, bug reports, and hackers start pouring in and a patch is needed in order to resolve them. This developer has done everything wrong.

*waves a War Z flag while wiping away a tear and hands the OP a tissue to wipe brown substance from nose*

I could almost hear some epic movie soundtrack in the the background as I was reading this.

Who knew a group of developers could create such an inspirational game and go through so much just to bring a little bit of happiness to gamers...

*sniff*

The issues we have with the developers.

I was promised a defense of the developer and its conduct. False advertising. I demand a refund.

the potential for this game has by far yet to be filled, and that should be ENCOURAGING, because WE, the GAMERS can be that change. Even the hackers are a part of that change.
