Do NOT buy this game
This will probably get deleted and / or buried, but I thought I might as well try to save someone some money (if I prevent a single person from buying this game my job is done).

Hammerpoint is a company that spawned out of nowhere in the wake of DayZ's success. They ban you if you play too long in hopes you'll buy another copy. They've publically denounced their own players (calling bandits ♥♥♥♥♥♥s, etc).

The game is absolutely filled with hackers. Lots of them. Legitimate play is nonexistant. You're simply hacker food. You WILL be wasting your money by purchasing this game.

Pre-ordered the game and played it during alpha / beta. It is a rip off with many fundamental flaws. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT buy this game.

~Your average gamer.

Did you even read what I said?
I was an Alpha / Beta tester, so clearly yes I ♥♥♥♥ing played the game.
It's no surprise the CEO of Hammerpoint was just brough to court for false advertisement, and they were just hacked.

Play as in have you actually played for more then 15-20 minutes, explored. Tried to survive, maybe experiencing a death or even a few? Or did you just give up immediately?

its true that the game is filled with hackers , at least on the top servers theres alot of hacking , prob 50-70 %
Its more a battle of who got the best paid hack instead of whois got the best skills
My advice if you want to survive dont goto clearview , campos etc.. those are hacker nests

Playing this game for over 4 months now and still enjoying it , lot of fun

EvilKlown- Anyone who couldn't get it has definitely not tried the game long enough. I'm becoming quite fond of your post though.
Pipi- I can agree, it's the larger areas that people have a tendency to hack or even PK in. I've managed to enjoy the game without stepping into a single one though, But hopefully manage to find a pleasant server.

(Sorry again for lack of quoting. Still on the mobile app D:<)

Now that is worthy advice @ where to avoid. As I have said in many posts today, if the player chooses a server with a very low population, the game becomes a lot more fun. Less chance of a hacker, less chance of some guy just shooting you to shoot you, and so on. Obviously you have done as I have, and chosen to stay in the shadows, avoid the hot spots, and choose to play on a low population server or at the "right" time (that varies of course lol).

Lol, thanks :D. I feel a lot better knowing if some one has played even for an hour when I read the hate posts. At least then I know they have tried.

You shouldn't have to take these measures to play a game you've paid good money for.

And for haters, I played through Alpha / Beta and into release. I know more about the game's foundations than any of you can comprehend. Clearly you havn't played the game long enough to hate it as much as the rest of the world.

Sure, if it wasn't a survival based game that would be alright. But really how much hassle is it to pick a server with maybe 3-4 people on it? That is sort of the whole point of there being so many servers (not counting the user rented ones of course), and entirely the point behind being able to choose what server you wish to use. I do agree it can be bothersome at times, having to slink around or hide in the woods. But that does help make the game a bit more interesting. Obviously, as with any game, it just may not be for some people. I love tetris, a lot of people hate tetris, never see a point to playing it and so on. I like it, despite it having no real goal and so on. While the 2 games are extremely different, the same concept takes hold. Some like, some don't. And the only real opinions that even matter on the game in discussion (War Z in this case) are the opinions of the people who have actually played it. (Yeah, that means your opinion does matter :p)

HAHA stop hating on the game , just because you are a dayz fanboy doesnt mean you have to put the game down like this. at heart this is a really good game, all they need to do is sort out there anti-cheat and start to get the game back on track
Desyrel 5/abr/2013 às 0:56
Thank you Rispetto, you got my attention, I was looking forward this game now I'm much more aware. Keep up with the good work. Forget the empty head fanboys, they would be happy playing Nintendo classics to these days without having their our opinion. Deep reviews from people that really enjoy the game are much richer.
