Calm down!
Seriously people, calm down. The game has flaws, every game has flaws. The game is new, of course there are going to be hicups. Yes the game got hacked badly, it happens, to every thing on the net! Yes there are hacks in use in the game world, again, this happens everywhere. All of this "well if they used punk buster" stuff is ridiculous, I have watched people use hacks on PB protected servers since day 1 of PB. This kind of thing happens. Instead of complaining 100% of the time, how about help support the game in some way. Maybe instead of endorsing these biased sites that hate on this game without having ever touched it for so much as 1 minute, make a site that puts it out there fairly. And for those of you who have not played the game, have not bought the game, and have only been reading what ignorant fools post hatefully because they got busted hacking... GET REAL! Play it yourself! See how it is, THEN and only then you can form an opinion.

I have to assume that a lot of people in this forum have never once participated in an Alpha/Beta release before, because if ya'll had... Lol.... Ya'll would NOT be saying the things you have said, and would not be acting out the way ya'll have been. Grow up people, learn that an Alpha/Beta release is not a 100% representation of the final product. Also you should all realize that due to the legal issues that War Z has been facing, plus the hack attacks, the small team of developers have been exceedingly busy. Of course they can't whip out a new patch every day, or new items every single day. They are busy, and if you want something rushed then you will get a product that performs WAY worse than the worst instance of War Z!

-_- Grow up.

You bought it initially from Steam or Origin didn't you..
Gamestop knew it was not a full release, when I purchased my copy the manager said out right "You do understand that this is just a preorder and it gives you early access to the Alpha and Beta test right?"
I said "Yep!" Because I... Read the FAQ's, and the forums, and many other OFFICIAL press releases.

This is not to say that the lack of communication with Steam was ok in any way. It was pretty bogus that it was put on Steam as a full release, not a preorder with beta access.

I know that you don't respect my onion, but you don't see further than to your crowbar.

It is you who sees no further than the crowbar my friend. Go back and read my post a few more times. Then read my replies to you. I never once said I do not respect your opinion (or even your onion..)

I also said I am not judging the game because of that, that I am just pointing out that Day Z has just as many if not more fatal flaws and glitches. Please, read. And read it again after that, just to be sure you read it the first 2 times.

(Also, I see just fine past the crowbar, I see the zombie coming, I smash the zombies face, I then put my crowbar DOWN. I also see the mountains in the background... Pretty sure I see past the crowbar. And seriously, why would I even begin to care about your onions dude...)

For me this game represents incredible arrogance, blatantly stolen ideas and concepts of another game, unprecedented disrespect to players. oh, well that's only the way i see it.

Moreover their P2W system is basically a slot machine. I really can't support War Z consequently Hammerpoint, ever.

Ok, well, if its stolen concepts then every zombie game since the first game involving zombies should be taken off market, and the makers sued. Also, its not even a pay to win system, if it was, you would be able to buy guns in the market place, which you can not.

Seriously, I respect your opinions (though I do not respect you thinking that I do not respect your opinions! lol.. No really I don't care, it's all good dude.) I just think a lot of the things I have been seeing on this forum have been highly biased and based off of things found on other hater forums. I see not one thing in the game that has any real likeness to any other game. Short of being a human, having guns, having melee, being able run, walk, crouch, and go prone, oh and zombies. Now if this is grounds for likeness rights, seriously, lol... Then "Night of the living dead" should be suing the pants off of a whole lot of places. Because every single one of those things is "like" what you see in that movie.

Let's examine things outside of this zombie genre. Look at Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Battlefield *, and any other shooter. These games are all identical with the exception of some have destructable environments. They all have sprint, they all have crouch, most have prone, they all have guns (most of the same exact guns and explosives), they all have humans, they all involve war, and 80% of them all want you to kill some guy named whatever Al Asad.... Should these games be shut down for being "like" the others? Of course not. Because you cannot copyright things like that. Not in that way. By the logic presented in these forums, Ace Combat Fighter should be sued out of existance, because Top Gun came before it. But wait, Top Gun cant say a thing, because AfterBurner came before that! Get what I'm saying here?

Odds are, I was using english before you were born. I will sue you for using english, because I use english, and used it first. Wait wait... That will never work will it. lol

I bought it from steam. If I had known it was beta, I wouldn't have bought it, and would've waited for the full release. I would've thought that steam would've made that part and parcel with the description. I think that is in fact the main source of aggrovation for most people. Now that I know it's still beta, I've cooled off a little, but I'm still angry over it, just not furious. And I'm still not happy with the company. And please note that in some of my posts, I DID say the game has the potential to be good. I stand by that fact. It does have potential. I just don't feel it was worth paying money for atm. And like I've stated, for some reason, I made a poor choice and didn't do alot of research. I just assumed I could trust valve to have the company make an accurate description of the product. Lesson learned. back to Borderlands 2 for awhile. That game makes me smile alot. =)

I agree, Steam should have had the proper information posted. But from what I understand that was a communication issue mostly on War Z's part. As for Borderlands 2, enjoy!
