WarZ got hacked....again, why is this still on Steam?
this is only the 3rd time now that WarZ has been hacked. First 2 times it was the forums, now the game development has been comprimised.

When is Steam going to start protecting customers?

How is this Steam's problem? Clearly people wanting to play a bad game, no matter how crap it is they can't be saved. It's not Valve's problem to solve, if someone else's servers get hacked. Sorry but this is a horrible game, not worth $1 let alone the $15 they ask for it. I'm hoping they strip it off, because this is just a joke game..

Lol. Group of hackers got hold of it for 8 whole days and ♥♥♥♥ed around and now have all the War Z data base info XDDDDD Love how crap this game turned out to be. Im gonna wait a few months before I get Day Z just to see if it goes into crap as well. :P

As you can see, the game security is just terrible, i never seen any game being hacked this badly, including the Dev Account got hacked...that just terrible..if those hacker get their hands into the players database, ur account, Bank account, are good as theirs (Hopefully not, since that will be my problem aswell since i bought it very LONG AGO) well anyway,

All i can say is that, don't Buy THIS game, your safety isn't 100% secured with this kind of company. Be patient, there are alot of MMORPG Zombie games coming out soon, for the meantime, Buy other games if you trully need to buy one.

... not just a dev account, the Executive Direcetors account.....the account of Sergey himself.

now, if anyone thinks they didnt have access to just about everything via that account....they are in denial.

This is Steam's problem because people's credit card information security or purchased game keys are at risk and have been comprimised. This IS Steam's problem to deal with now.

This is nothing to do with the fact that the meta score is 20/100 because it's a crap game, it has everything to do with the fact that people's personal information has been exposed to hackers now.

hahahahahahahaha
Honestly, at this point, everything is really the consumer's fault for falling into the Warz game scam

This actually isn't steam's problem at all. Unless your CC information becomes attached to your forum account when you connected them, you aren't at risk. If my assumption is correct, those who purchased the game through steam need not worry about their bank details and whatnot because they did not purchase the game from the official website.

In my opinion, if my CC information was connected to my forum account, then that is absolutely ridiculous because there is no need to do so and it is an invasion of my personal details

All jokes and games until your credit cards start getting unknown charges. Unless you're a kid and it's your mom's credit card.... then I could understand your response.

The claim the hackers made was that they obtained access to the forums MySQL database as well as the dev test server and other internal company systems. They claim to have credit card information but stated they weren't going to release it. So.... who are you going to believe?

Just to be sure, I will keep an eye on my CC but I don't think it is at risk.

EDIT: I am going to believe that Steam is the only thing that has my CC information and that there is no way that the hackers could have accessed it as I never used it on the official website.
