Why do you think it sells for such a low price? People tend to be more risky with lower amounts of money and why millions play the lottery spending up to thousands a year.
This game uses a similar tactic the lottery sysem draw people in with a low price that is meant to exploit them for more money continuously.

The plan was not to profit off the sales of the game but the shop it also carries. And don't think for a second that the shop doesn't effect you if you don't purchase from it. It's a compeititve game, the other player attacking you that failed and fell back to heal using a medkit could have very well bought that very medkit from that cash shop. The very mag he loads as he camps in a corner as you come after him, you hit him only surviving because of the medkit he bought, thepaid for bullet pierces your skull when he returns fire. The shops effects everyone.

The game will likely go F2P soon. But this game is nothing but a cash grab attempt filled with lies, unfair bans, broken promises, terrible remarks from the developers one case even homophobic in nature, the game sold as 1.0 when it was in early alpha stages, glitches plauge the game. The cash shop is just one many layers of crap piled onto the game.

guild wars 2 does the same

Guild Wars 2 purchases serve a fully aesthetic feature, which isn't uncommon in many MMORPGs.
Players can purchase their own servers, weapons, etc, in the War Z. then lose nearly everything they've paid for after being killed by a hacker.

This is nothing new. Quite a few games are taking on this business model.

this ♥♥♥♥ is putting me off video games altogther between hackers and complacent sheeple supporting scams like this multiplayer gaming is becoming very actually dead to me and this very title seems to be an ICON of everything that is wrong with gaming now.

Guild Wars 2 doesnt sell things you really need. WarZ does. They sell ammo you cant find in game!

Not like this one. You are so wrong! This game is clearly a money scam! The only other ones are f2p mmo's. Otherwise nope!

I don't think at this point anyone is crying, well except all the WarZ users who just had their personal info and Credit Card numbers stolen by the hacker who took the forums down. I hope you were not one of the 50,000+ people.
I would be angry, customers have an expectation of security that this company did not provide. The hacker even showed that the anti-hack system really is only a screen shot taken every now and then, and sent to a mod. Yup, that's a fair and accurate system!

i havent been dumb enough to buy (into) this, i am merely voicing my concerns that this is becoming the new standard of online gaming. selling a game with a pay2play/2win system and treating the community like dog ♥♥♥♥. TY again EA you started it all

the cash shop has no right to be there until they get a grip on the hacking problem. buy something in the cash shop and its virtually guaranteed that a hacker will kill you and take it.

personally I don't like cash shops in games, I'd rather pay AAA price for an AAA game and happily pay for server rentals or map DLC, but buying ammo and revives doesn't pull my chain at all.
