The final call - Remove War Z for good

Greetings! I'm sorry for my English isnt the best, but I'll try explain myself as good as possible. For long time ago, steam decided to shut down The War Z because of missleading information for the buyers (when you go into store to look at the game). I'm one of those who did refund this game, and I'm very happy by this.

The problem is that, there's still ALOT of missleading things on War Z and again this should be removed from Steam for now and ever.

Why you may ask?
One thing that attracts me to games the most, is watching on screenshots and videos on the game here on steam, I have over 180 games bought, so I'm very used and I know many of my friends does the same (looks on pictures and find it cool and therefor buys it.)

So those pictures is AGAIN showing unrealistic screenshots of the games, WHICH does NOT exist at all INGAME and being a big fraud such as.

- Zombie animations been set up
- Zombie animation does not exist
- Depth of field not in the game
- Global illumination not in the game
- Unrealistic amount of zombies
- Two being hunted by unrealistic amount of zombies
- Zombies standing at a bus doing unrealistic animations (which does not exist in game)
- Zombies trying to get into warehouse (animation does not exist)
- Guy being hit by zombie (orange vest) this animation does not exist.

I could continue for ages and I see a problem on almost every screenshot, and steam who is so professional should really think again, and remove War Z for good.

just let people be scammed by this piece of crap simple dayz standalone will come out soon and i hope its still complicated as the dayz mod cause all the people who buy warz are noobs that cant stand how "complicated" dayz is and when dayz comes we dont want warz noobs in it

Why ask for the removal of War Z, it should be up to the customer whether or not to buy the game in the first place. Some people enjoy the game, it's not exactly finished yet either.

In future, don't be dumb and buy a game that's in an Alpha/Beta build. I bought the game and played it on day 1, I enjoyed it to start with but the increase in hackers and then the lack of updates.

Still, thinking about it I paid around £20 or so during the initial release and I got more gameplay out of this game than I would from a single player game around the same price.

Yes, they f'ed up with the initial release on Steam giving incorrect details about the game in it's current state. People should of also read up on a review themselves before hand as well.

i play war z and im not a noob. I've put 100's of hours into Day Z. Im pretty sure im not the only one. There are many people that enjoy playing this game.

Also, banging on about screen shots, i agree some of the screenshots are not accurate. However, i dont look at screenshots before buying. I go onto you tube and check out some in game footage. I imagine most people do this. In game footage does not lie, thats why many people have taken a chance on the game.

Yup, agreed. This is why steam can suck my ♥♥♥♥ as to me ever buying a game through it ever again..... Steam, supporting HP's scamming of players since Jan 2013.....

All they need to do is force them to use real in-game screenshots. Otherwise it is a blatent scam. Good job Steam, my respect for you is declining.

Did you even watch the whole thing? Or did you just watch the first few minutes. If you listen to the commentary, what he says is true. The devs of this game are lying to their consumers. They claimed that the max player population per server is 100, when in actuality it's 50. That is a blatant lie. They also said that the map size would rang anywhere from 100 to 400 square kilometers, however, there is only one map and that is only 75 square kilometers. 25 less than what was claimed. The overall look of the game is also just plain ugly, and it appears to be a worse copy of DayZ, which has a lot of bad qualities but keep in mind, it's still in alpha.
