Let's have a simple, bile-free discussion about why this game might be worth reinstalling and trying again.
- Are they still charging extra to respawn early? What if you change servers?
- Are they still charging extra to start with a basic loadout to defend yourself?
- Is there any new variant that encourages teamwork or at least discourages the wholesale slaughter of random passersby, or is this game still a fair-weather psycho simulator like DayZ was? Can you still survive indefinitely on junk food? Does the game magically spawn ammunition for you? Or do you actually (shock, horror) need other humans around in order to survive?
- Is the map still an L shaped series of bottlenecks with a city the size of my high school?
Those were what turned me off. What would make you come back? I'll be reinstalling as soon as I have the bandwidth to spare and will happily answer what I can, but for now I'm curious if anyone can chime in about the above.
Sorry for the loaded language, but I really hate the teenage murder fantasy element promoted by world spawns and cartoon dietary requirements. Even World of Warcraft will punish you for trying to subsist on sodas and power bars.
