nobody here can really help you
i posted quite a bit of detail about both of them with links to sources. its in one of the post sin this forum, number of months old.
just in general
both fairfight and punkbuster do delayed bans. so you are not banned immediately, but even months laters. its done this way so people dont have an idea of why exactly they got banned.
punkbuster rarely does a false positive, its pretty stable / known technology widely used and fairly good.
fairfight on the other hand is newer and when it first starts being used with a game tends to give a lot of false positives, but slowly gets betters. the only things is with each release where you make changes to things that could trigger rules you sort of have jump in false positives. so think about it you edit the map and now one of the rules is no longer correct. so a bunch of false positives are triggers, they are found to be false positive, the rule adjusted until the false positives stop. you see this with like evey release. if you only made changes that did not correspond to rules then its ok, but if they do tweaks to map, and things like weapons and other stats you can imagine case where the rules going off improperly. so you have to keep game map and stuff stats all in sync not an easy thing for any small company.
the other way is to losen the rules, which used to be the case, but back when the game started fairfight was it and lots of people cheating and people complaingin about it so they put the rules at 0 tolerence so you end up unfortunately with more false positives.
what they should have done is when they added punkbuster they should have losen up the rules, but i dont think they did. or i dont think they did enough
and they keep tweaking the map and stuff stats a bit too much, and they dont test enough. so lots of false positive each release. the more changes the more changes of false positives.
punkbuster does give warnings. fairfight warnings maybe hard to catch. they both tend to scroll off the screen with chat. also keep an eye out for you are being watched /monitored messages. you see them from time to time. dont ignore them.
fairfight is a rules engine looks at how you are playing it monitor telemetry collected from your client, from the server, etc
punk buster looks at what you have loaded, is installed on your computer, is in memory, is in storage, is in registory, etc
it basically using the same protection as battlefield 3/4 and number of other games...
with fairfight it looks at your stats, it looks for you doing things you cant be doing without cheating, it also looks for you exploiting glitches / bugs.
so dont enter buildings you cant enter. dont get on top of buildings you cant get to, dont get on area of the map you cant get to, etc
so dont deploy stuff on top of stuff to get to places you are not supposed to be on
dont pick up honeypot loot that is where you cant normally get to etc
with punkbuster dont load funky drivers, overlays, software that is meant to give you an unfair advantage, hacks and cheats.
its not that hard. ive been living with both fairfight and punkbusters for many years in many games.
also dont ignore warning / temp bans, etc
just know each time that you break a rule you are being flagged by ff/pb, if you are flagged enough times you will be banned.
depending on how bad is the violation you can end up being banned form not just this game, but other pb games
also punkbuster has the ability to ban your computer and even down to the individual components of your computer, so cheating could end up being very expensive.
so dont cheat, dont glitch, dont hack, dont exploit bugs ext and you will be ok. many have been around playing this and other games for many months without problems...
mostly its about building on top of like places you cant build in real life like you cant put shield on top of fense or put shield on top of shield
sometimes the game engine lets you but that is glitching to make stairs that way to get on top of stuff like roofs or fenses you cant get to
so dont make steps to get on top of stuff
personally i think now that they have punkbuster they should ease up on fairfight so they dont end up with so many false positives with every new release...
