So it is true, the devs routinely permaban people to secure more sales. How do I know? I bought the game on steam sale just for kicks and launched it, left about 40 seconds later because I had to go shopping. Completely forgot about it until today.

Go to launch it today - 'your account is permanently banned'.

Total scum of the earth developers. I'm really not sure how the hell they managed to sweet talk Valve into keeping this game on Steam through all the crap it's made people go through.

just create ticket with hammerpoint support and give them the email address that you used to register the game and your external ip address and tell them your story and have them check if anyone other than you used your account and got you banned... and be nice...

Yeah the reason I had to stop initially was I spent 30 minutes in the launcher creating an account. I literally spawned in, saw it was dusk/nighttime and logged out to go grocery shopping. There's nothing I could have done, I didn't use chat, I definitely didn't cheat or have hacks/cheats anywhere on my computer.

I remember reading that they were banning people before and refusing to reverse it way back in the day. Not that I really would mind if they never got back to me, I was mostly curious how close it was getting to DayZ.

they unban members all the time. just had to do a little search of the forums.

pb/ff bans people cause rules are triggered, like i said most likely banned by ff cause someone used your account, but who knows.

forget what you read, the only thing u know right now is that your banned. nobody here knows the details.

so just create ticket as i detailed and give it about a week...

in the meantime u have dayz which is by their own statements a year or more to go before beta/release and who knows what that will be like a year from know and what this will be like a year from now...

mostly i think u got somthing in ur pc hacks virus or u had cheat engine somthing that u forgot to turn off .this game using 2 anti hacks

Definitely not even an option. Unless software is digitally signed with a valid certificate by the publisher I don't run it or install it. Anything even remotely vague gets uploaded to virustotal and analysed in a virtual machine first.

Annnd.. I don't use cheat engine, and I've never installed it because I'm not a 14 year old script kiddie.

jack i honestly think you are a little confused this is an unofficial forum hammerpoint does not moderate so it's not hammerpoint who has been repeatedly banning you from this forum, its been the steam moderators. just ask them.

also being banned from the game has nothing to do with being banned the forum. people are banned from the game when fairfight and/or hammerpoint flags them for hacking or when someone uses their account without their knowledge. people get banned from the forum for violating steam rules and guidelines. the two are totally seperate and have nothing to do with each other.

if your banned from the game you can submit a ticket to hammerpoint support and ask them to take a look at the reason you where banned and if someone hacked your account and used it without your knowledge. if you banned from the forum you can't do that. so its like your mixing the two thing

if your banned from the forum i guess you can try to contact the steam moderators and ask for them to look at it. but hammerpoint wont be able to help you in anyway.


perhaps the reason your confused by the two and would not know about creating a ticket with hammerpoint support is cause you dont even own or play the game as you've stated in at least this post you recently made.

im not sure where your getting that number. cause nobody here has access to know. i guess your throwing it out to incite. but they have over 1M customers perhaps 2M so if they had 5,596 false positive with 1M customers that would be a stellar record for any company cause that is 0.005596% which is well under 1% which is by any way of looking at it amazing. and all any one has to do who has been falsely banned is create a ticket!
