I:SS issue - nothing new
Half year ago I uninstalled the game. I remmember I couldn't play on California map, cuz it always disconnected me.
Now I came back to give this a second chance - escalated quickly - no chances, no more.

It disconnects me all the time on colorado normal servers.
What to do?

could be a number of things

in general
=========================
verify game cache

post details about your hardware (cpu, gpu, memory) and os (windows version n if 32/64 bits)

make sure windows, drivers, c/c++ runtime, .net runtime, directx runtime, etc are all updated

now it could be one of 2 things. your box does not meet the hardware requirements to run the game and thus the server is disconnecting you and/or the internet / client / server connection is having problems so here is what to do

=========================
good place to start is by checking for errors in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The War Z\r3dlog.txt

if client performance problems causing server to kick you...

run resource monitor or better msi afterburnder + hwinfo to see where bottleneck is

look at this thread on tweaking the game and increasing performance
http://steamcommunity.com/app/226700/discussions/0/846959179199964105/

also make sure box exceeds minimum requirements
http://store.steampowered.com/app/226700/
System Requirements

Minimum:
OS:Windows Vista/Windows 7 (enhanced for 64-bit OS)
Processor:2.4 GHZ Quad Core or better
Memory:4 GB RAM
Graphics:Nvidia GTX 460/ATI Radeon HD 5850
DirectX®:9.0
Hard Drive:3 GB HD space
Sound:Windows Compatible Sound Card
Other Requirements:Broadband Internet connection

also this game needs 64-bit os with 8gb of ram and a very good desktop 4 core cpu + very good desktop gpu with 1gb video ram

and keep in mind if you have a laptop components such as cpu/gpu are 1/2 generations behind desktop equivalent

=======
if internet lag / internet connection issues

if wireless check signal strength/quality

check if anyone/anything else is using your bandwidth

check your firewall/router logs

check game logs files, pb logs, windows application/system event logs

do tracert to server(s) using pingplotter
http://www.pingplotter.com/

I have better GPU since deinstallation, and I have my CPU overlocked to 3.1
There's no way it could bbe requirements. There's now way it's an issue with game cache, cuz I just downloaded it, without stopping or internet issues.

Game ♥♥♥♥♥ died long time ago, I wanted to play just for fun, but hey - I ♥♥♥♥♥ can't. After 2-3 years game's going worse, worse, and even more worse. What the ♥♥♥♥ is happening with devs? They can only give us GC discount to gain more? I think so...

poost hardware specs

it coul dbe requirements if u cant keep up the server will boot u so u dont become problem for other players. all games work this way. if u hit high ping like 500 your gone... often will happen with games if client is too buys cause it cant keep up..

california map is larger so it has more requirements.

colorado also is problem fo rlot of people since its giant map as well with lots of zombies, players and very large draw distance, and lot sof folliage so their boxes cant keep up so they get booted.

also if wireless u have to make sure singe strength/quality

n u should check internet connection to server using something like
http://www.pingplotter.com/

also u have to look in log file
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The War Z\r3dlog.txt

why u booted will normally be there at end

also good to run w msiafterburner/hwinfo to find bottlenecks
Scarlet Jul 2 @ 9:04am
GTX 285
4 GB ram
Win 7 prof. 64
Core 2 Duo e8200 2.66 overclocked to 3.1

Connection is good
I always played on low with 30 fps and it worked well.
Now can't play
The doctor is in Jul 2 @ 9:09am
ur cpu does not meet the minimum hardware requirements to run this game

your gpu does not meet the minimum hardware requirements to run this game

you do not have enough memory to run this game

so what is most likely happening is the server is booting you cause you not replying in time to keep it looking nice for everyone one else.

else people would be complaining that others are teleporting/rubberbanding/sliding around... bad experience so like server kick lagging players before they become problem for everyone

sorry but all the overlocking in the world will not help u respond in time to the server. u just cant handle the number of threads / processing units with the hardware that you have to respond in time to server requests...

and you i know know how getting 30 fps will not mean the server is getting its responses in time...

this game needs 64-bit os with 8gb of ram and a very good desktop 4 core cpu + very good desktop gpu with 1gb video ram

nothing going to change that. no matter what they remove because of the size of map, number of zombies, number of players, amount of loot, number of vehicles, ect and all that has to be communicated realtime repeatedly so everyone stays in sync... that is why the hardwarre requirements. and while framerate would go up if they remove folliage, the problem remains that u really dont have that much time to get alll the packets and respond x number of times a second.. where x is most likely at lest 20 times a second... u dont have the extra cores to be doing the processing and its most likely roadblocked while doing other stuff. so u have to have a steady stream of uninterrupted communications back and forth happenign without much delays

hope that helps. that is why most other games its limited to very small (even when they look big, maps with few players not many more than 64 and nothing like zombies and all the loot, ect... so think battlefield most of what u see if fake / static, and they have network code that is rather bad since bf42 by everyones understanding but its sole job is to move the packets around and it goes really bad when someone is lagging. so u see people rubberbanding, teleporting, ect.

Wait, so you want to say that is impossible to play for me now, even if I played it for so long?
Dude I have so much hours in this game, I played this before with worse cpu and gpu, + lower ram, and now I can't?

Whre's the logic?

How game with such ♥♥♥♥ty graphic and oretty small map need so much money put in my pc?

didnt say its impossible. it depends what umean by play. u yourself saying u getting disconnected all the time. so is that playing. its like throwing gambling. you have greater chances than someone with hardware that meets the requirements of getting booted. why because u have one more thing that coule throw wrench in the thing while ur trying to play. they dont have to worry for the most part about delayed packets u have to. they could still have delayed packet,b ut less likely because of their hardware. u have greater chance. they coul dhave delayed packet cause of internet, just as u can, but u have added chance of having one cause of your box being busy at just the wrong time one too many times or just once too long. so it about probability. so sure i bet i could get old windows box out with single core and not enough gpu , cpu , memory and set the swap file to give me lots of fake memory using my swap file. and sure it will load, will take forever and then perhap si could even join but i got greater chance of getting booted when the server is expecting packets from me and they aint coming...

re: pretty small map

what do u mean by pretty small. by what standard, by any other game standard it giant map. anyways the thing is you dont have the hardware for this game. the minimum hardware requirements are quite clear. its on the store page for all to read. when u ignore them and buy a game regardless of fact you taking on yourself a greater risk that you will not be able to play this game. there is no support for said hardware and you can complain about it but honestly who messed up. it was not hammerpoint they posted the hardware requirements. its i think you who chose to ignore them. hopefully this is a lesson to you. dont take it wrong. in future make sure your box meets the minimum hardware requirements before buying a game. at least it was relatively inexpensive lession. hey it could have been on $80 ea game with tiny map that is drawn to look big but that is linear tiny in the places that u can go and just mostly backdrop you cant go like the kind u find in battlefield series nowadays... so cut your loses, save for new box, cause the one u have sadly no longer works with most of the games of this type coming out...

If you understand playing by gettin' disconnected when entering a server - yeah I can't.
I don't even have a chance to see character, or the map. Loading bar full - disconnect.
I want my 4-5 euros back as I bought it year ago...
The doctor is in Jul 2 @ 9:27am
your not going to get your money back. it is your responsibility, not steam to make sure you do not buy a game that you do not have a box that meets the hardware requirements. that is why steam posts the hardware requirements on store page fo you to have looked at

now this should not be in debate

if you want contact steam support and ask for a one time goodwill refund / credit (most likely they will not give it) but give them your story, about not having looked at hardware requirmeents and having bought it thinking it would run and perhaps the customer support rep have been known to give such goodwill (cause steam is nice company)
Scarlet Jul 2 @ 9:29am
I looked, I bought it, I played it for 130 hours with good framerate with my friends. I can't get in the game that worked fine on my pc before uninstalling.

Where's the logic in your comment... again?!

BTW.
I can play DeadZ Reborn pretty comfortably now, so yeah. ♥♥♥♥ I:SS

simple u have to have a box that meets the minimum hardware requirements before buyig a game.. simple logic that my grammer schools newphews easily understand..

and ur in for a surprise deadz is hacked version of this game created with stolen source code from this game and it often comes loaded with malware. so enjoy the root kit stealing your identity and turning your box into zombie for illegal activity by organized crime.. so its copyright infringement, stolen intellectual property u playing with nice.. anything else u want to tell steam while ur posting here...

Even my freinds with much more weaker pc can play this now. I still can't.
What's your arguement now?
Scarlet Jul 2 @ 9:44am
Yeah I can see this pretty clearly. Much promises, much patches - still nothing.

Yeah and you won't win an argurement with him he will just keep posting long drawn out post. Some of the stuff is logical some is not its not all on the user end is all i'm going to say.
Scarlet Jul 2 @ 9:47am
Using dumb arguements isn't winning a conversation.

I paid for game - so I want to play it. I could, now I can't.
Hard to understand knobhead?
