Does this game still get updated?
Wondering, because I love the game. Haven't played it in awhile, so I haven't followed development. Really hope this game continues to get support, maybe a few content additions even. Love how trading cards are a thing now :D

IIRC the developers have stated that their main focus is currently the mobile versions for iOS and Android. The game itself is complete, a huge amount of time and effort went into content and balance. I don't think there's any officially planned new content, though the possibility of further DLC has come up occasionally. Personally, that would make me extremely happy, though I get the feeling that the devs might need a bit of a break after this :P

Completely understandable! I forgot they had mobile versions of it :D Well good luck, devs! I hope you get as much success in the mobile industry as you have here! And for the record, I'm totally down for some DLCs ;)

Yup, working on the mobile builds... We'll be doing an update of the PC versions along with the mobile release, mostly bug fixes and optimisations - there might be some new content if we can get the time to make cool things thiough ;)

Agreed, Gakato! Also, thanks for taking the time to respond, dislekcia :)

As much as more content is always better, I can say that this game definitely feels "complete" and I feel I more than got my money's worth. Thank you for making it!

I agree with you. The amount of content in this thing is astounding. I've already beaten the main story-line, got rainbow borders on all but the Vicious Dungeons, and earned all Steam Achievements and yet keep losing hours to bettering my play.

Case in point: Monk + Poison Dagger = Effective! (so obvious, why didn't I try this before?)

I think it's going to be awhile before I'm anywhere near "good" at this game. There's a ton of streategy to this game, which is arguably why I enjoy it so much. But right now, I'm not really that good lol.

Even after all I've accomplished, I feel exactly the same way that you do. Watching others play on YouTube I realize that I take comparatively zero time before I make a move. After playing each map dozens upon dozens of times, I'm used to "quick wins" using specific class/race combinations. The trouble is, without experimenting with different setups, much needed but little known tricks to besting particular maps are left unknown, making you convinced what you're attempting is impossible. As an example, I would never have thought to utilize the Mace with BURNDAYRAZ to remove multiple Death Protections off a particular boss without watching someone else do it.

Thing is, I don't even know basic strategies yet. I understand the concept of "kill higher level enemies for bonus XP" but executing it, is a different story. I think I'm too quick to reveal the map as well, which ends up biting me in the bum.

Heh, I'm always amazed by the depth of this game. Every time I felt I'd "gotten better" and that I'd uncovered a layer of the game's strategy, I'd realize there's still more to dig into. There are people posting strategies in the QCF Design forums that I would never have imagined, combining systems in new ways and outright breaking them. This game was thoroughly balanced and tested during a long beta period, and yet the year following release people were still discovering new strategies. That's pretty damn amazing.

Myself, I'm pretty content with my current skill level at the game, but I know that I could keep spending time to improve after at least a thousand hours of playing. Very few games can claim that kind of value; not just in hours (that's easy), but in sheer quality.

I really can't help but have a little fanboy rant for this game once a month or so :P I'll keep talking about it until it gets the recognition it deserves! :WONAFYT::PISORF::BURNDAYRAZ:

Tell all of your friends man! It does really need to get noticed more!

They spent a ridiculout amount of time making this game and getting everything just right, so I doubt any major updates would be in the works. It doesn't really need it though, theres a couple hundred hours of nasty vicious dungeons if you get bored...

I recommend mini-updates during Steam sales, perhaps some content that can be one from making card sets, like new sale puzzles. and such.

We're working on a couple of things to go with the mobile release. So yes, there are updates coming.
