Is there a way to increase difficulty and/or make the missions take longer?
I feel like I finish/win the scenario after setting up the first 3~4 soup producers, before I get to explore anything on the map, never even got to the places that I'm told to get to to grab something they dropped.

I'm finishing the set of planets behind the first recipe-locked area atm.

Pretty sure thats all you can really do, it'd better if there was some expansion/survival modes with an actually randomized world and multiple competitors/weather etc.

Thanks for the comments!

Every planet that you conquer can be revisited in SOOP Sim mode, which is our sandbox play mode. In that mode you're free from the the constraints of reaching 100% market share and only have to defend from rival attacks.

As you progress in the conquest mode the missions become more challenging. You'll have planets where you can't use certain tech, or where you'll have to build around existing bases.

We'd like to add a map editor sometime down the road so that people can create their own planets and difficulties, also.

is there any chance of more than 1 rival (2/3/4/..) in standard conquer mode in any of the future updates?
SOOP Sim mode just seems pointless (no goal) imo.

If you add secundairy goals/medails and/or nightmare/hardcore difficulty modes to play I'll be absolutely more interested to buy the game.

Rather have a more difficulty game then some ZzZz sandbox with no end or map creater where I dont have time for. :P

I agree. I have no interest at all in a map editor. I want the game to have difficulty levels, and the levels that the developers designed should be challenging enough.

The fact that you can beat the missions before you even explore the whole map and grab the important stuff is a big design problem.

Playing in the endless mode after you beat the missions does not sound like any fun. Once you beat the mission, the challenge is over. What reason is there to continue to play these maps, when there are no goals? What use is finding the important items after you have already beaten the map?

I hope the developers will take this to heart, and improve the campaign missions.

Also read that 1 soup recepy is enough to beat mostl/all levels. Ofcourse that can be fixed with some finetuning. (perhaps dynamic pricing which makes most maked soup worth less and less over time making more soups needed)

Just hoping that above mentioned happens quickly or at least is being adressed on paper so I can buy the game with a good feeling.

Me too. I was all ready to buy the game, but then I started reading about all this stuff.

TBH It's a good game, fun and I don't regret buying it, but for most missions it feels like I'm forcing myself to not produce any soup so it doesn't end too quickly.

It could change at later stages idk, but for now that's how it is.

Most of the time when I've actually gone out to seek those supply drops or whatever in the levels it's just ended up being a free robot...I've never needed to automate that much and the times I have tried to use robots for automation they tend to throw ingredients out of my base or just carry around the same ingredients infinitely xD

and the tutorial teaches you how to build extra generators and power them with the crystals you locate and dig out but after that I've never even needed more than just the power from the main Office =/

We really need an expanded mode where maybe the days take a little longer but the game is difficult enough that it forces us to actally explore the maps for different ingredients and supply drops and power crystals.
