controls are awful!
Really horrific, why am I constantly doing the blurry spin while looking around, and why is there so much mouse lag? I can't see for flashing lights and explosions and blur o vision.

Is there any way to improve responsiveness? The game looks pretty interesting, but I feel more like I'm fighting with the interface than the aliens. Even in the main menu it's lag city.

what are you system specs? this isnt a hard game to run, so unless your computer is very old or you have old integrated graphics or something, that shouldnt be a problem. you can change the display settings in the game. mouse lag could be cause by vertical sync if its enabled. you could try lowering the other setting and/or resolution too.

Plays really well on a 360 pad. Game runs pretty slick too.

Your specs probably suck kid. My game runs fine.

Seems to have settled down a little now.

I'm running on a Core I7, 6gig of RAM and a Radeon 7650, not the most amazing spec list, but this is not a game I'd upgrade my system to play.

I'll definately try it with a pad though, didn't have one at the time.

I think it is confusing when I move forward and the man walks sideways and then I have to point into sides to be able to start walking forward. Then there is tons of explosions to blur things even more. Looks nice, but controls feel awkward. You might get used to it, but I am not so sure. And swiveling the view doesn't seem to work properly, though I am not a mech, either.

Playing with xbox360 controller and haven't experienced any control related problems-very easy to control the character and it's not really necessary to rotate the camera view all the time!
Top-down shooters on SEGA and SNES were always like that-the player could never actually switch the camera view to direction they were going so for me it's not a biggie if I can't switch those camera angles that smooth. Top-down shooters were meant to be played like this from the beginning-without switching the camera views, but I can see why people who never played the snes top-down games are mad! For me it's just an extra feature!

playing with keyboard and mouse isn't good. u can't define your controls, so spinning your camera is like a pain in the♥♥♥♥♥ luckily only 5 bucks for 3 games (not that i am playing the 2nd and 3rd part)
