Sorry to hear you'r experiencing issues with lag. Is this still occurring? If so could you please contact our support team following the steps below? Thank you
1. Hold down the Windows Key and press R
2. The Run dialog should appear. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
3. Click OK
4. Click Save All Information
5. Set the Save as type to Text File (*.txt)
6. Save the file DxDiag.txt to your Desktop so it is easy to find.
7. Attach the DXdiag.txt file in an email to support@team17.com
It may also be worth ensuring your drivers are up to date:
1. Go to http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/auto_detect.aspx
2. Install ‘AMD Driver Autodetect’ application.
3. Select yes on to allow application to run if prompt appears.
4. Select ‘Download Now’ and follow the steps to install the driver.
5. Restart your computer, if necessary after installation of drivers.
It seems like the newer worms games on steam doesn't play well when not on the system disk so placing them in another steam library (another harddrive) may cause lag issues.
Probably due to some env variable being used that leads the game to the wrong location but this is only speculation.
I had two graphic cards and I was running this game in RAID0 on two SSD's. I removed one graphic card and put the game on a regular HDD and now it loads like molasses. 3mins to load. File check is also extremely slow. My larger games load faster. A game like this should load in under 1min. Doesn't for me. Pure junk.
