What a terrible game!
Terrible! If you're looking to buy, try the demo first, the graphics are plasticky and are so colorful it hurts, the voices are terrible, the game is chock full of poor design choices, and I still can't comprehend how so many people liked it... Do yourself a favor, and buy Torchlight or Torchlight II, an Elder Scrolls game or even Titan Quest Gold, they're all infinitely better!

You played it for an hour, your opinion is null.

- We like it because it's big, goofy and deep. It's different and that's what makes it special.

I understand it's different, I understand the appeal of what this game COULD have been. I've watched my brother play this game for hours on end. What you call goofy, I'm 90% sure the devs actually thought it was cool (monster design), sexy and edgy (seraphims), or funny (tombstone jokes). I'm not saying everyone should agree with my opinion, but I felt that some people need to know what they'd be getting themselves into if they bought the game, which for me and my fiancée, and probably a lot of other people, is very cringeworthy.

Special place in my heart for Sacred 2, still have a blast playing to this day.

My first reaction was basically the same...practicaly burned my retinas from all the bright colors. ;)

Obvious solution: turn the brightness or gamma down. I wonder if SweetFX could do something to improve the look of the game? Taking a look...

I really think this game is well done graphically and story wise, a true classic.

It´s all a matter of taste. I like it because it´s classic. And for those who do not like this, don´t play it, you´re not forced to play this. There are a bunch of other games out there.

cool, thanks, one question, when creating an online account it was asking me for the activation code, is this the steam code or is there a game code I would have to use?
I looked on steam for the key code for this game but it doesn't exist. I got this game from the humble bundle and activated on steam.

You don't need a code or any kind of an account - The official Sacred 2 servers were shut down when the developers went under. You do however need to install Tungle to play the online.

Exactly my point, that's why I'm saying "Try it before buying it you might find it repulsive and overrated like I do." :)
