Is the game worth a buy?

Hi, so amazon has Sacred 2 gold on sale for 3 USD. Is this Gold version an updated Sacred 2? I downloaded a demo for Sacred 2: Fallen Angels, however my computer even though it is windows 7 and is only three years old has integrated graphics so it is hard for me to play games. I was somewhat able to play this game on low settings but it seemed the mouse cursor in the game would lag a little and I am not sure if this is due to haveing the worst graphics card for PC in the world or if that is the way it is in the game? Or if I should just cut my loses and forget it. Thanks!

I'd wait until you had a better computer, you don't want to be lagging when there's a large group of monsters trying to eat your face.

Also, the Gold edition is Fallen Angel and the Ice & Blood expansion - both fully updated. Not a bad deal for $3, but like I said; performance is an issue.

The game itself isn't that laggy its just the cursor seems to drag a little. Well now amazon doesn't have the deal but gamefly has it for 4.99 though I am not sure if the DRM is steam.

Even $5 isn't bad. You missed out though, this game was in a Humble Bundle a few months ago. Sacred 2, Saints Row 3, both Risen games and Dead Island.

OMG that is awesome. My computer cant play SR3 I have tried. Does Sacred 2 have a story? It seems very different from other RPGs I have played. What is Humble?

It does have story; 2 actually, light and dark.

The Humble bundle is a pay what you want sale for charity. Usually for indie games but some bigger publishers like EA and THQ got in on it. You can pay whatever you want (minimum of a dollar) and if you beat the average price which is usually right around $5 you get a bonus.

There's always a few bundles going on and the last one was sponsored by EA; it had Dead Space 1 & 3, Burnout Paradise, Crysis 2, Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3; The latter 2 only available if you beat the average.

Oh okay. Now even if someone (like me) can only play this game on low to medium settings (because performance wise I don't really see much of a difference between them, though I need to turn of shadows) would you say buy or pass?

Also you wouldn't happen to know if buying digital PC games from gamefly gives you a key for steam would you?

Back with a little question. Why is it that when I start Sacred 2 up it shows what my prossesor is and that it is setting stuff up? Is this normal for the game on PC?

hm a tip may be to declick on mouse acceleration or something in the control panel. dont know if it will work but i did that on another game when my mouse was.... acting wierd. try it

Found out that i needed to click the harware mouse option in the game and the issue stopped. Not sure how though.

Also if anyone happens to find this on sale again (I am looking too) please oh please let me know. Thanks!
