Humble Indie Bundle + Sacred 2 Gold (Online activation?)
Hi! I got this game with the HIB, but when I try to create an account for online play, it asks me for some activation code. Where can I find this code?

you might use the search function of this lovely place,it's not the first time this question pops up.There is no official online play anymore, the servers are gone and thats why you won't get an activation code.

MP is limited to Lan

If is some type of CD key you can see at the right side of screen on Library. If you want to play online with friends you can use Tunngle, Hamachi, Gameranger or any other programm that can create LAN games and servers.

The steam store page says "singleplayer" so I'm suprised people don't notice it.

Is the multiplayer server down?

It seems to me that Deep Silver had closed activation/multiplayer servers Sacred2 to focus on developing Sacred3.
I don't really understand this choice because there are not many players on Sacred2 and a small server would not cost very much. It's a shame.

Yukinari, you don't have a clue how much server power is required for Sacred 2 servers- so you really shouldn't talk about it. Also, by keeping the servers up they open up themselves to recieve a lot of hate/bad publicity/whine about not updating their client/game- much more than by not having servers.

Well you answered your own question. There are not that many players so there is no reason what so ever to keep a server up and running for it they would just be waisting money for nothing. Enjoy the single player game and be happy. Personally I could care less multiplayer is of no interest what so ever for any game. It is just a waist of money to even make multiplayer in the first place developers need to focuse on single player and then add multiplayer if there is time if not no big deal.

Surely you mean WASTE. Waist is something entirely different and has nothing to do with a game economy, unless a developer needs a hip replacement.
