Sacred 2 Gold

Sacred 2 Gold

That Dodge
Finaly I decided to play Sacred 2, so I bought gold, patched it a little (community patch 140 and russification), read some info aboud templar guardians and their builds, and started Silver.
By far I somehow managed to get lvl 10, and holy <censored> I hate that dodge. Every single rat can own me, while dodging like 99.(9)% of time.
So? What am I doing wrong? Did comunity patch boosts dodge for all enemies? Did silver is to much for first run? though I played first part, and many others arpg Or did I just pick some outdated build, wich didn't work with newest wersions?

Almost forgot aboud build (silly me :p)
Now I got:
  • Every stat point to Strength
  • First take is Blacksmith and Bargaining, for better equipment, then Devout guardian focus and Armor Lore
  • Skills are Combat alert and T-Energy Shroud
Build tells me:
  • Keep stats in Strength
  • First max Bargaining and get Blacksmith to 75, then keep up with armor and weapons, and raise Devout guardian focus when you feel that you need it.

PS: It will be miracle if I didn't screw up with some tags. Is there some kind of preview button in steam?
PS^2: Well, it's almost a miracle, I forgot to close last "list" tag

Problem here seems to be the Build here.
Blacksmith and Bargaining aren't really that helpful in your case."Hafted Weapons" helps a lot more than getting offered better items at a trader.
To gear up your first 2 chars, stuff that drops is enough in my opinion.
Also: without a weapon-skill,even tons of points in STR won't take you far
Beside that, you also need some Dex to get your Attack/Defense value up.

Since this is your first toon, don't rely too much on Min/Max builds and get a feeling for the game first. My first char was a TG too and the skills that i took were far from any "Top notch"-builds but it's enjoyable to play him (bossfights, while still beeing a challenge, aren`t impossible either).

Thanks for your help.
I recreate my guardian then, and try one more silver next time. Well if this didn't help I'll probably go for bronze.
Silver is ok,i wouldn't start with bronze since it will be a long ride if you plan on going platinum and upwards.

Have a look http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=158402459

I'm not saying "Thats how you should skill/thats an awesome build" but it provides a lot of fun and you can always change things to your likings

I may write something wrong but the dodging ability seems to be tied to Dexterity, so you should get some point there for an efficient dodge

I don't mind being hited, my problem was that I couldn't hit an enemy.
Also, maybe sometimes it was because I literaly miss them. You know, that times when you swing with your weapon and enemy just start walking away. Freaking hate this. Hope mobs will be more agressive later in game.
Anyway. I created a new evil TG and now will try focusing more on damage and survivability than equipment.

With out weapon skills ur character had better be focusing on Abilities since they will hit (magic based ones not weapon based) all the time
Created a Dragon Mage and decided to build Dragon form, Berzerk, and the dragon dropping a fireball on the ground. With Stamina for faster Recharge and Regeneration Decreasing stats.

Dragon Form and Berzerk for Bosses, and the fireball thing for trash mobs while running around.

He is every deadly with hardly any misses.

(Also helps that I had lvled a Seraphim before him so had a bunch of his skills stored in shared stash)

Watch your speed penalty on your armor pieces. You should be able to find stuff with -0.0% speed penalty. You can outrun just about anything then. Tactical withdrawal is a good strategy at times. I prefer the magic casters and area effect spells myself.

Take a look at this TG guide. OgesMC is in my opinion a great writer of Sacred 2 guides. I used lots of his advise for my Dryad, my High Elf, and my Seraphim. And they are all fantastic to play :) :
