Disappointed with the PC version, actually prefer console with this game.
I don't claim this very often about a PC version of a game being inferior to the console, but this just joined the ranks of Grand Theft Auto 4 in a genre of better to have on console. Just wish they would have released the x-pac out the console as well.

I have a very hard time believing you Mr. Troll, this game is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ on the consoles trust me i have tried them, think Battlefield...they're on the console too but garbage, they were made for PC...

Bye bye Mr. Troll, enjoy your troll sugar snacks...

I prefer the console version as well, but if I want to play Ice and Blood and CP I will have to play it on the PC. It's certainly not bad though. I still enjoy it.
Siddha Jan 17, 2013 @ 1:58pm
I dont think you have to provide proof to justify a preference.
Shadowfene Jan 17, 2013 @ 2:21pm
The OP(me) does infact own Sacred 2 on Steam, i have had it for a couple weeks now. Where do get this infinite knowledge from?
Shadowfene Jan 17, 2013 @ 2:28pm
Check recently played, its like 3/4 of the way down. Between the Darkness 2 and Deus Ex.

I don't see why I would lie about one of the 183 steam games i own.............
Heinrich6745 Jan 17, 2013 @ 3:45pm
Meh Skyrim works fine on PC and is better than the console versions....the UI is freaking terrible though due to the consoles but if you use SkyUI it is soooo much better, i've more hours played on it than my steam says but i haven't went back to it as i am putting it on hold till everything is released again...that and i don't want to make my huge modding guide right now a ton of people are waiting on >.<

But yes lets keep this clean guys lol.

Doesn't matter really. You enjoy consoles. Good for you.

But your post impiles that this game isn't any good on a PC which clearly isn't true.
Both Sacred games play very well on a PC.

But again it's your opinion.

What makes @Shadowfene appear to be a troll, is that he or she makes a very provocative statement, and then offers no information or reasons for making the outrageous claim.

This is exactly how a troll gets its entertainment - it makes an outrageous statement, and then sits back and watches its victim community self-implode in internecine warfare. Further discussion of the console vs. PC issue is going to give @Shadowfene great amusement and laughter.

And, the more anyone attempts to engage it in meaningful discussion, or even an exchange of insults, the more outrageous its posts will become, all the while ignoring any and all reasoned arguments or debates being posted about the nominal issue.

Meanwhile, it will laugh harder and harder, and become more and more amused, and will brag to its troll friends how it set a group of previously friendly individuals to each other's throats.

There is one and only one defense against a troll. Do not post in the thread. Do not attempt to take its controversial topic seriously. Absolutely ignore it. Anything else, and you are playing right into its hands.

The forums are for people to share info, views and opinions.
The OP shared an opinion.
All the troll stuff is generated by those who dont like the opinion...not by the OP.
Personally I think the game is great on PC; but it doesnt bother me if someone prefers it on another platform. Why should it?

What? How is Skyrim better on consoles -_- gtfo. Graphics, controls, mods, performance and ability to multitask and quickly move on to other things makes Skyrim along with 99% of other games better on PC.

Also the OP is allowed his/her opinion but if you are going to come to a board and say something like that you should give reasons as to why you think it's better on console. Whether it's controls or performance of the MP experience you should state your reasons if you are going to create a discussion on the subject otherwise yes the post is a waste of space and promotes worthless arguments.

Without giving reasons as to why your opinion is your opinion you might as well keep it to yourself.

This was not meant to be a flame war. I simply posted an opinion on a game on which i played both on the console and the PC and thought the game felt better on console. I am not here to bash PC gamers because i would be bashing myself. I just spent 3k on a new rig i built. 2 GTX 680's SC edition in SLI, I7 3770k @4.4GHz and all that good stuff so sorry for expressing a preference but you saying Skyrim is better on consoles is where i stopped taking you serious. If you have a rig that can run Skyrim well there in not much of a comparison

"I like it better on the console" isn't really an outrageous claim. There are plenty of reasons to prefer the console.

Reasons the console version is better:
-Less freezes. Maybe. I've had a freeze once every few hours on PC, much fewer on PS3. Your mileage may vary.
-Some interfaces are more streamlined. For instance the auto-targetting of most combat arts (execute in one button press) vs the PC's default scheme of press the hotkey, aim, then click. Also I think that the list-based inventories sorted by category is preferable to the tetris grid.
-Drastically larger shared stash space.

Reasons that the PC version is better:
-The console has brief loading times when walking around busy areas like Griffinborough.
-More precise and fast control over aimed/AOE combat arts like incendiary shower.
-Long inventory lists on the console can get laggy.
-Availability of mods and the expansion, of course.
-Potential for performace tweaking. It'll likely look a lot better with a halfway decent video card than the console.

The game freezing and crashing on you all is on your ends, not the game...I have not had ANY issues like you people, even with the retail copy i never had any issues lol.

I have played both versions and the game is way better in EVERYTHING than the crappy consoles...Not to mention the consoles versions have exploits that will never get fixed lol.

Also Skyrim better on consoles? gtfo and slap your mama lol.

But yes OP did come in here say those things of their opinion but didn't back it up with anything which is why this all got started in the first place...and said it in a rather provocative way.
