Sometimes, I like to play shadow warriors when I want to feel invincible. You can plow over everything in the game without much challenge with a shadow warrior, though.
I've also spent a good bit of time playing dragon mages. Summoning tornadoes and blowing everything up with exploding elementals is always fun. Plus, you get a cute little red dragon familiar. The outfits are a bit flambouyant for my taste, though.
Prior to the staff gimmick builds with the dryad and the inquisitor, I was a big fan of the High Elf for the mass carnage aspect of her character. I do enjoy watching twenty XP GAINED messages pop up from one swing.
I can pretty much just right click on a mob champion, and then either watch the show, or go get some popcorn or a drink, or maybe go to the bathroom. I do stay at the screen for bosses, just in case I need to drink *one* or maybe *two* health potions after I right click the thing three or four times.
I am finding it kind of fun and not boring to be playing Superman with either a lightsaber or a Magic Guitar, just because the Shadow Warrior's animations make him so entertaining to watch while he cleans up the screen. The power of flight is kind of awesome as well (maxed out running speed plus jump).
Playing the SW reminds me of playing the Gladiator in Sacred 1.
