Difference between a singleplayer and a multiplayer character?
Could someone explain what it is? And how it works? Afaik my singleplayer character doesn't save his progress in multiplayer games?!

It won't save your progress if the Guy that runs the server (or the first char that enters it) is ahead of you in terms of story progression. At least thats what i figured out so far,i open Servers via the Tool and not ingame so no idea if that changes anything

I may be totally wrong here tho, long term Sacred2 players might correct me

I wonder too, havnt played in long time. I used lan for
farming the big boss's and hidden ones. Since they dont respawn on single player.

I believe you would need "coop" feature for it to be saved. While you can use lan with others, I dont think the progress will be saved. Quests work fine, redoable in lan. Main quest wouldnt work correctly. Best if you had a player far ahead of game, so you can teleport to them.

I think you guys would need to be at same starting points as well. I could be wrong, havnt played long while.

As far as I can tell only the [multplayer] host gets quest progress, and even then for the campaign the character has to be made through the multiplayer menu and not the single player menu to be able to save the progress. I too could be wrong, but just what I have observed.
