If you like Diablo and Torchlight, you'll like this.

I dislike Dota2, and I'm more of a fan of Fps games.

It's not a moba nor is it an FPS.

Well... I began gaming on Xbox with Call of Duty and Halo. I stopped console gaming about a year ago, and I just haven't got into any other types of games. I do play puzzle and platformer though.

The game is very good, has good graphics, and a very large world to explore and quest in. The main difficulty you may find is in getting it up and running well. There are tips all over the web on that.

The game will run on an Intel HD 2500 gpu, so that tells you something right there, even at mostly high graphics.

Basically, you have to keep in mind that it has PhysX in it. Best to turn it off as it doesn't do much except add falling leaves and it causes great lagola. You may need to make sure the PhysX driver is correctly installed, you may need a legacy driver for it. THIS IS SO EVEN IF YOU TURN IT OFF, SO BE AWARE OF THE POSSIBLE NEED.

You may need to start the game with certain line commands turned on. There is another thread on that. It will talk about adding -nocpubinding and -skipopenal or something similar to it. No cpu binding will allow multithreaded cpu cores to work well with the game, if I recall correctly. Skipopenal avoids using certain parts of the openal sound system, if I understand rightly. You may find that this along with PhysX driver installed correctly solves any problems in the game. Traditionally, there was a possible problem also with the first movie, get past that and you should be ok.

There can be an occasional problem with the font in large display modes. The web describes a method of using an alternate font from Torchlight Series to help solve the issue.

There is the ability to set the camera in a customoptions file to have more range of movement, closer zoom, and closer to the ground which can be fun looking at the game and cool costumes. It has little impact on fps on a modern computer. You can find such tips on the web.

If you like female characters especially, they are very pretty and have a wide range of costumes and animations. The game is an action rpg much like Diablo series or Torchlight series. There is an unofficial patch to it that is available as well, that is recommended by most players.

This summer I intend to spend much time playing this game. For the price in this genre, it along with Titan's Quest series among the best looking of the bunch and recommended. Also, Divinity II Developer's Cut is worth investigating.

Always buy these games on sale, as they are often on sale for 66% off or more. Then you will never feel disappointed, but instead feel like you ripped off Valve, which is always a worthwhile feeling to have.

With one character you should be able to get at least 40+ hours out of the game. Truth is, to fully enjoy the game, you'd be able to play for hundreds of hours. Will you like it? Who knows. But the Sacred Series has lots of good reviews overall. Sacred 2 plays a bit differently than Sacred 1 and it displays differently, both are recommended, although I think Sacred 2 is more free-form and more logical.

Can you have followers? Yes. Skill trees? Yes. Lots of Quests main or otherwise? Yes. Cool enemies and movies? Yes. Lots of freedom to do things in the order you want? Yes. Minimap and lots of mouseover tips? Yes. Customization options? Yes. Multiple levels of difficulty? Yes. Tons of loot? Yes. Nearly every feature ever invented in top-down action RPGs? Yes. Import your character with her stuff into a new game? Sure. Chests to share with other characters as common chest and also a separate character only chest? Of course. Chest is in each major city location? I think Sacred was the first to do this, so of course. Main map and mini-map? Yes, um when do we get the tough questions. Potions? Yes. Unofficial patch with upgrades? Sure. Great looking gals with cool spells and hot costumes? Mandatory Sacred series requirement, did you really think otherwise?

Helpful community? Of course. Look, when you can buy a game cheap with all these features people remain happy and feel happy enough to share the experience. That's how you have a good community. You will find many threads both here and on the web explaining how to make sure the game works for you. Browse them. You will start to see the common denominator -- most people who have played the game want others to be able to play the game too. It's like finding a minor treasure in a fistful of sand. You want everyone to know the story, there's no loss to telling it because it makes you feel good again all over.

By the way, if you like Fantasy Strategy, Fantasy RPG, and Fantasy Action-RPG, you may want to take a look at the Humble Weekly Bundle right now. A bundle of the Divinity Series plus Age of Wonders basically. Very interesting.

I think it's thee best Diablo-like - But the developers screwed it up massively by not including the game pad support option they offered in the XBox version. However if you're not subject to carpal tunnel and have plenty of back up mice in the closet - I'd recommend this way before suggesting moden day titles like the Torchlight series.
