After Years Of Trying It's Finally Working!

So, yes, after years of trying to get this game to work on Windows 7 I've finally gotten it to work and I'm having a blast! Great game! LoL, imo it's got a steep learning curve and I've started over twice, but once you know wtf you gotta do with runes and penalties it's all down hill.

No clue why it's working now, but specs are:

Windows 7 x64 sp1 (all updates)
AMD video card with 14.3 beta v1.0 drivers
Creative Titanium sound blaster with XFTI_PCDRV_LB_2_17_0008 drivers
PhysX-9.13.1220-SystemSoftware (installed for other games and is active)
CM-patch v140 (worked with it and without it)

Recentlly formated (have done this before) and I did NOT do any tweaking to make this game work. Installed and immediatly started playing. Game seems to be crazy long. ATM I'm lvl 21 and 9.5 hours in with maybe 10% done. LoL? I'm a completionist when it comes to ARPG's. So I'm doing all the quests I come across. I'm happy that it's working at least and it was worth the wait.

It's addictive if you try to go completionist - I managed over 500 side quests on a single playthrough. If you like to wander along the edge of maps looking for random places, the devs reward you with some fun easter eggs :-)

The random dialog is great and the shear amount of detail that went into this game is tanfastic!

I see a lot of ppl complain about the gamma, but I'm enjoying the brightness and all the pretty colors!

Hmm, I could never get this running worth a damn on Win 7 - it was unplayable. I'll have to give it another shot now.

I just got this is the Humble Bundle, and I have to say I think it's one of the most beautiful ARPG's I've ever seen! I've just BARELY started playing (maybe an hour in) but I'm SO looking forward to getting lost in this world :)

I'm using Win 7 Pro 64-bit and I have all the settings maxed out. It runs as smooth as butter on my system. I was a huge fan of the Diablo series (played them all) and this looks to be WAY more in depth. So excited that this was included in the Humble Bundle. I had never heard of this game and probably never would have if it weren't for them.

A little sad to hear so many people are not able to run this game on their system for some reason. Looks like they are missing out on a GEM of a game.
