CGI Trailer. And it's not even being developed by Ascaron.

Will wait for sale.

So a seraphim class will be in the game.

Of course it is not being developed by Ascaron. Quoted from the Ascaron Wiki page,

"In April 2009, the company was unable to pay its debts and went into administration citing the extended development time of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel as the reason. The company continued trading in the hope that a solution could be found, but the company was ultimately dissolved in July 2009, with Kalypso Media purchasing many of the licenses and assets from Ascaron Entertainment, with the notable exception of the licence for Sacred, which was acquired by Deep Silver (Germany)."

Deep Silver has taken over all things Sacred, as Ascaron is no longer a developer.

Which is exactly why I'm waiting for a sale. There was also no need to quote the wiki page; I already knew Ascaron was gone, that's why I said it.

Here's some more information on the newest Sacred. It's gameplay will be significantly different from Sacred 2. http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/20730-rad-community-sacred-3-preview/?fromsearch=1

Wonder how loose the game will be. Like look at
games dungeon siege 1 2 3, they dont even feel like they are related.

Sacred 3 is not worth to be named Sacred at all.

From the way the Darkmatters preview was written; it seems like it's going to be like Torchlight or Diablo 3. No open world, limited abilites, 'mission' based. It's not looking good.

Looks and sounds fine to me. Torchlight is an amazing series, D3 wasn't a terrible game. Sacred 3 doens't need to be a copypaste version of 2, it doesn't need a huge sprawling map with a bunch of random, pointless side quests. If it's a smaller, focused game then that is perfectly fine.

The graphics are gorgeous, it has a unique look and style about it now and Deep Silver makes some pretty good games after some patching and possibly some modding. Is it something to rush out and buy day one for 60 bucks? Maybe, depends how badly you want a dungeon crawling loot fest ARPG, but I have no doubt the game will be more than worthy of the Sacred name and worth the money spent.

Exactly, it's the open world and the 'freedom' you have in Sacred along with the flexible skillsystem which made me play it. I find Diablo boring for exactly these reasons.

Sacred 3 is not worth to be called Sacred. It has a good feature list, but Sacred 2 has a better and longer one.

I will have time to wait how it turns out. I am sure the reviewers will hype this one then the game might turn out as other failed ones in 2013. A game with a user score lower than 8 is a riskful investment in these times. Let's sit and wait if they only dare to milk users for their expectations and the great sounding name as The Creative Assembly did with Rome 2.
