Protozoid Slimer Sprites (And sounds soon) Replacement

WORKS WELL IN A MULTIPLAYER TOO!

For those people, who affected by a phobia of them as much as i do.
I searshed for way to make them much less creepy, and make possible to play upcoming multiplayer with those changes, and i think i found it.
So i edited TILES009.art and added it to custom GRP file, then make DN:ME port launch it by editing DEF file (thanks dear TermiT for idea.)
But this ISH'T WORK.
From mounths i realised about ART.* file, that lying in gameroot folder. It works fine, no problems.
I think i've made some success. Still afraid to allow them to crawl onto my face, 'cause sounds not want to be replaced (dispite my heavy work converting it in VOC format). But that's how they looks now.

Let me know, if anyone has idea how to replace slimer sounds and how to convert to validable format so game could play it. Also, let me know, if you tested the replacement, and it's look well in the first person view attacking sprite. In fact, this should be looking like this.

Installation:
1)Simply Unzip RAR archive in your "Duke Nukem 3D/gameroot" directory.
4)Run Duke Nukem Megaton Edition.

That archive contains one ART file with some replaced slimer sprites.

Note: That mod should give kickstart for Slimerphobers (including me) to start walk through the game.

About new monster: Well, that appears to be a pile of some stinking, rotten meat. When it's gets to player, it force feeding Duke by itself. Sure, every bite he does causes intoxication, and he dies in result.

P.S And most important thing to warn : this will not work on addons (Vacation or otners). So wait

A lot of the times it's when your taken by surprise. There's a lot of levels in Duke 3D where you'll be fighting a Mini Battlelord and one of these will attatch themselves to your face and freak you the ♥♥♥♥ out.

Didn't work for me :/ i follow the instructions but i get the usual green slimes.

Sure you done everything right? Maybe you wrong worked with an DEF file?
Anyway, i will upgrade link to archive, i will add DEF flie to archive.

Nope. still won't work :/ i try at Shrapnel City, in the pool with sharks and Octobrain, there are some eggs, but still green slime instead of your red sprite. I play the megaton ed. and not the dosbox classic.

I dont know what to do then. It's all works with my Duke, except attack sprites because i diht check them yet.

Have you tried at different maps, or one in particular? Didn't have to be "map related" but just in case, wich episode and map have you tested?
