Looking for some glitch help for single segment speedruns of this.
I'm learning to speedrun this game for fun and was hoping someone else on here also does and is a little bit more familiar with the levels runs. There's some glitches I could use a hand getting down or figuring out a more precise way to do them. thanks

What's up? I helped find a trick in The Abyss and I also found the Death Row skip. I am currently doing speed runs of the game and am using the fastest known route with good consistency. Ask me any questions you like and I'll try to help you out.

You skip Death Row entirely and get to keep all your weapons and items. So at the end of Red Light District there's a few ways to end the level, there's a hidden nuke behind a wall that I could only get to by cheating.
But the two relevant ways is the way most people end the level, you get trapped in a cell and after a line of dialogue the level ends, and you can jump over where the cell comes up and hit the nuke at the end if you interact with it at an angle. Bascially you're trying to hit both triggers at the right time so they both end on the same frame.
If you bring up a game menu (help, save, options, etc.) without actually pausing the game (hitting escape) then certain parts of the level will still run. The end level triggers are a part of this, so if you can trigger the dialogue and hit the nuke then pause with a game menu, if you wait a few seconds you can hit two end level triggers at once and the game thinks you beat two levels and sends you to Toxic Dump.
It's kind of hard to explain without showing, here's a video I did (excuse the terrible quality) that actually shows it happening. I go through the entire first episode, so if you just want to see it done and hear an audio explanation just skip to 1:40

not bad dude. in fact, that reminds me, you outta do a video showcasing that Faces-of-Death map/glitch you mentioned previously, where if you hit that hidden switch in "The Abyss" a 2nd time, you're automatically taken to the said map

That's a great idea, I'll make a video and post it here when I'm done.
