Question about the trading card booster pack.....
ok, i've already unlocked 3 of the trading cards (Protector Drone/Enforcer/Octabrain) with no card drops remaining, which qualifies me for a booster pack that unlocks 3 extra cards, and thus getting the Fusion badge.

But my question is, how long does it usually take before one could get the booster pack and the last 3 cards??

Random. I hear the chance of getting one goes up with every 10 Steam levels.

I've gotten 2 now :)

I thought so. because I had unlocked 3 trading cards for the game "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon", which also qualifies me for a booster pack, and potentially the Colonel badge associated with it.

I qualify for about 27 packs and get one roughly every two weeks.

It sucks xD

Same here. I qualify for 30 and it seems like I'm only getting one pack every 3 weeks while I'm in the level 10-20 range.

Edit: For someone who only has a handful of games with cards, it's pretty awful if you might only get 1 or 2 booster packs per year.

that is kinda dumb. because I figured if you're unlocking the cards by playing the actual game itself, then you'd think it could've rendered the booster packs moot, as you're unlocking them along the way and getting whatever badge that's associated with those said games.

while i'm on the subject, I think just about all of the major games (both big-name and some of the indie ones) should get trading cards. I mean, if "Duke Nukem 3D", "Dota 2", and "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" can get trading cards, I think games like "AvP 2010", "Duke Nukem Forever", and "Rage" should get trading cards as well.
