Any news on the next update? Will there be another update?
I'm asking because I don't want to use Xpadder for controller support.
It just feels "off".

Thanks.

You really shouldn't be playing an FPS classic with controller, and well.. you even don't succeed too well when playing on the harder difficulties because this game is a PC game. Duke 3D PSX didn't work too well either becuase much like Arena Shooters, these aren't games made for game controllers. These are games made for WSAD+Mouse.

Not everyone had a mouse back then...

I'm not having a Controller vs. PC Controls argument in here so don't do that please :P

The developers are working on another project at the moment but they have expressed interest in returning to Duke to implement missing features. I'm not the one to give details about that but the game hasn't been forgotten about, it's just been pushed to the side at the moment until they finish their current contracted project.

As for Duke PS1, it controls just fine if you use the 'Doomed' layout. The problem is that the FPS is a killer which makes the controls feel even worse.

well this game had controller support on the Xbox 360, i loved the demo for that one.
Hell DOOM and DOOM II did too, and it was GREAT

I hope the delay will bring working coop with it, but at this point it is almost a safe bet no big fixes to multiplayer if any.

wait did this game have co-op through tengame on win95? (never could get tengame to work...)
Lunick May 10 @ 11:10pm
Yes, the original game had Co-Op and Deathmatch as well as Duke Tag in one map or certain user maps.
that's what she said May 10 @ 11:41pm
Okay, so Devs promised controller support, and now they have some 'projects'?
Sometimes it's better to do not promise if it may take years (or even do not appear at all).
I wonder how's Vita version is shaping up too. Some oldschool duke coop over ad-hoc sounds awesome, but there isn't much news about it since announce.

I think the funny thing is that one of the devs said that controller support was on top of the list, You would think it show up by now

Please could you add a custom FOV option? In widescreen resolutions the FOV is way too low and gives me a headache :(

There is a FOV slider in Shadow Warrior Redux so I'd imagine it's a pretty quick fix.
